Our intent is to promote tolerance. Social order is necessary with rational thinking to keep society from self destructing. Without effective social structure chaos prevails. One purpose of religion is to fulfill this need.
Even if you dont believe in a creator you should recognize the forces of nature. If you believe that God is simply a polymorphic concept, you should be able to accept the laws of nature. The center of Christian Reform theory is that these processes are the same whether you acknowledge God or not... Even without a captain the ship remains afloat.
