Our training goes with each individual dog to suit their needs. We offer training from puppies to finished dogs. |

We start with a 30 day evaluation period of your dog. This consists of planting a bird and taking the dog out on a checkcord to see if it will point the bird, then the bird is flushed. The dog is allowed to chase as Keith shoots (this is mainly to see if your dog is gunshy and how well it will retrieve naturally). |

If the dog passes, Keith will then start a yard breaking program (come, whoa, heal). When the dog is doing this well and Keith sees that the dog can take the pressure, he'll start forcebreaking the dog to retrieve. |

This is all done as basic and made as easy for the dog, the owners, and ourselves and still be very effective. |

Our summer horseback training starts right after the 4th of July. The dogs are then worked on a weekly training and conditioning program. This consists of half the dogs being roaded (w/ a 4-wheeler) and the other half will be run off of horseback. They will rotate Mon.-Tues. and Thur.-Fri. Wed. the dogs will be worked on foot with birds. They will have the weekend off. We charge $450.00 (field trial dogs) & $500.00 (hunting dogs) a month at this time and this includes birds. If field trialing it's that amount plus the cost of entry fee's and a traveling fee. |
