  Detailed Features: William has a scar on his forehead which he proudly boost was given to him by a Nausicaan on Starbase 238. His nose has been broken several times from fights with Klingons and in hand to hand combat. Physical Descripton: William has been a Marine for 5 years now and is in very good shape. Psychological Descripton: By nature, William is a quite man. However, he is a violent man when provoked. He never has walked away from a fight, which he probably inherited from his father who was a Starfleet Marine also. He has two older brothers who used to always fight him, which in the long run has made him a stronger man. Due to extra ordinary bravery against the Cardassians, William was promoted to CPL. On a routine patrol, his platoon was ambushed by a company size force of Cardassians. The platoon suffered heavy casualties and was forced to retreat into enemy territory. For two months, William and his platoon was cut off from their fellow marines. Finally, the PLT SGT died from massive wounds he suffered in a skirmished and William was left in charge of the rag-tag group of Marines. He led the marines in a guerrilla style war on the Cardassians which proved fatal to many Cardassians. Finally, after a total of 81days of missing in action, the Marine Platoon was spotted by Marine Aviators and resuced. William was given a battlefield promotion to the rank of second lieutenant. After completing his Marine Raider training McMasterson was sent to the 5th MSG.
