"Hello and Goodbye" is the song in which Eva clearly stakes her claim on Peron. She goes to his apartments, marches into his current mistress's sleeping quarters, and tells her that she's been replaced, to leave, and she does it in no uncertain terms. Her role as Peron's mistress is now securely hers.
