Her form is the Bird/Serpent Goddess of Regeneration which may represent a spiritual guide for the dead. She is depicted as a woman with her arms spread up in the air as if drawing down the moon. this gesture is also the Egyptian hieroglyph for the Ka (symbol of the soul).
