the sun and the wind and the corn - and
perhaps of all creation- to the Cherokee,
Keres, and Dine people. Grandmother Spider is
the source of creative thought which is the
source of magical empowerment. Her power of
medicine and healing is so vast that humans
cannot even comprehend it. Her intelligence
goes deeper than human beings, it is of the
land, of mountains, of weather, of animals,
and of the plants.
Grandmother Spider is embodied as the
smallest of creatures, and yet is capable of
creating balance and beautiful webs. And at
the same time, rid of those things which are
pests.
She is the patron Goddess of this
