Colors are very important as each color attracts different spiritual aspects.
Each candle used in any type of spell should be consecrated and charged with magickal energy. To do this you must anoint the candle with a small amount of oil during the waxing phase of the moon. If you can not obtain anointing oil olive oil works well.
To bring something to you such as a mate, lover, money, etc., rub the oil from the wick to the bottom of the candle while visualizing the name of the attribute you desire.
To send something away such as disease, bad habits, etc., rub the candle from bottom to wick visualizing the end result as you hold your unlit candle.
Send this energy into the candle. As you light your candle, release the energy into the universe to fulfill your magick. >P> Let the candles burn out on their own. If you must extinguish them, pinch them out rather than blow them out.
Remember the "The Law of Three" when doing any spell.
