Artemis (Greek)
Artemis is known as the Goddess of Hunt and of the moon. She is a strong woman full of independence and self-reliance. Artemis' symbol, The Moon, rules over the nights, mysteries, and the women's bodies. Artemis, and her priestesses, wore a crown shaped like a crescent moon upon her brow. Often animal horns are also depicted in her headress.

Being independent and wild, she choose never to share her life with a man. Many men felt her terrible wrath for violating her wishes. Artemis lived in the woods with wild animals, nymphs.
