Elephants are the biggest animals in Africa and are also herbivores! They sometimes eat for up to 16 hours in one day.

Fun Fact: Ever see an elephant flapping its ears? He's cooling himself off by creating a breeze across the blood vessels in his ear, cooling him down. Elephants who live closer to the equator (in warmer climates) have bigger ears!
