These pictures are of the live action roleplaying games SOLAR (based in Georgia) and Amtgard, which I began playing after I moved to New York. The general rule of thumb is that if you see people wearing costume makeup, it is more than likely a SOLAR picture. And pics with brightly colored boffer weapons are usually Amtgard pictures. Most of the Amtgard pictures are from the Shire of Haranshire, near Syracuse, New York, although there are pictures from events and other groups as well.
