DEATH OF THE PHOENIX

FINAL ACT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ACT VIII.  A BETTER COUNTRY

SCENE I.  An Heavenly Country

Enter American Christians

According to Dragon Key Press, a leading occult publication, “the sunken kingdom shall rise, the dreaming lord shall awake, the phoenix emerge from the ashes... which implies that the old order must first be sacrificed upon the altar to their “Forgotten Father Lucifer.  Even now, the world is experiencing the “beginning of sorrows” of which Jesus spoke in Matthew 24:6-8: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

In the United States of America, Christians face not only the imminent destruction of their homeland but the prospect of persecution as well.  For disasters on the scale of the New Madrid earthquake will be attended by the militarization of cities until martial law is declared nationally, and the Noahide Laws become the law of the land, creating the conditions for  religious persecution.  Although the book of Revelation, chapters 4 and 5, reveal the Church to be in heaven before the Tribulation begins in chapter 6, it is also conceivable that the United States will fall and that the Bill of Rights will be abrogated prior to the onset of the Tribulation period, which will encompass the entire world.

“For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. (Luke 21:35)

The impending military takeover of the United States of America portends for American Christians our passage to “a better country, that is, an heavenly” as our Fathers in the Faith” saw in the Spirit before they severed their mortal bonds —

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.” (Hebrews 11:13 )

American Christians have never experienced the physical persecution which we only hear of in other parts of the world.  Should this be our experience, Jesus has taught us how to prepare:

“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. (Luke 21:34)

And to watch and pray:

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21:36)

Paul also explained how to prepare for the evil day in his great chapter on spiritual warfare:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” (Eph. 6:13-18)

Let us remember that we overcome, not in our own strength or righteousness, but through Jesus Christ who lives in us:

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13)

...Christ in you, the hope of glory... Colossians 1:27

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.(Rev. 12:11)

And let us remember Gods promise of the martyrs crown:

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1:12)

“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
(Rev. 2:10)

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Tim. 4:8)
