Autumn Pizza

A healthier version of one of America's favorite food! This recipe is great in the fall when it starts to get chilly outside. You can also experiment with different toppings for a more personalized pie! Vegans can just leave off the the cheese and pile the veggies even higher!

Ingredients:

1 pizza crust, any size

2 cups tomato based pasta sauce*

1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1 cup sliced yellow, red or golden bell pepper

1/2 cup diced tomato

1 cup slice mushroom

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spread pasta sauce evenly on crust. Divide all vegetable, except tomatoes, in half. Spread first half and all tomatoes over sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with remaining vegetables. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is slightly golden brown.

*Any pasta sauce can be used. I like to use Newman's Own Vodka Sauce because it gives it a nice tangy flavor.
