She stood right there 
    in front of me,
   eyes searching mine.  
   At that instant,
 with such clarity, 
    I  knew her thoughts. 
  There was no need
 for words. I reached
 for her hand, knowing 
   this to be her wish. 
 Our touch created
 a sense of magical 
  abandonment from
 the ordinary; something
 reserved for us.  
    Together we entered 
  an atmosphere free of care. 
 With a leap we were placed
   in a union of emotions
 unknown, such enlightenment 
  I had never known existed.

   The sun and the moon 
     appeared to be the same.
    There was light without 
        shadow.
     A wonderful world.

It was like this for moments
     turned into a lifetime.
 In this world goodness
      was an ongoing process 
        of reality. 

  In perfect harmony
       there is safety
         needed for creating
        a new world
     with different rules.
