From Moses birth, Satan wanted to destroy him, but God providencially spared him, through the faith of his parents. His mother, carefully made a basket, into which she placed him, and it was set adrift on the Nile river. As Pharoah's daughter went to the river to bathe, the basket was discovered. She looked inside and there was the Hebrew infant, which she immediately decided would be her own son. Her son that is, until that eventful day when Moses discovered that being the Egyptian princess son was not his destiny, but being God's son was!

In scripture, Pharoah symbolizes Satan, and his hold on the human race, because of sin. God raised up a man, "Moses," to demand of Pharaoh: "LET MY PEOPLE GO!!!"With 10 plagues, God sent forth His word, that he is not the Egyptian lord of the flies, nor the god of the frogs. The Lord so covered the land with frogs, flies, and so forth, the Egyptians loathed these idolatrous gods they'd worshipped. God showed them beyond a doubt that He alone is the ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD!Moreover, God made Israel memorize the SHEMA: "Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is one Lord."

God uses men to speak His prophetic purpose to mankind!
He spoke through Moses, to the Pharoah of Egypt, saying: "Let My people go!!!" It was an imperitive and not a divine suggestion. Pharoah thought it was his option until God
demonstrated His mighty power with miraculous SIGNS and WONDERS.We are about to see a marked increase of signs, wonders and miracles in the world today. God's sedning forth His message. Hear O Israel: The Lord your God is one Lord!

"The angel of the Lord appeared in a flame of fire out of a bush that burned. Moses said: I will see this--why the bush is not consumed. And God said: I AM that I AM is the name you will give the children of Israel: tell them "I AM" has sent you to them. Exodus 3:14)" Yeshua/Jesus said: "Before Abraham was "I AM." (John 8:58) When they came to arrest Mashiach/Christ in the garden of Gethsemane he said: "I AM!" And the power of God knocked the soldiers to the ground! (John 18:6)

Like for Moses the day comes to make a marvellous decision. The decision not to be called the "son of Pharoah's daughter, or enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season, (Hebrews 11:24) that we might know the awesome and only true and Living God. And like God "communed with Moses "face to face" as a man talks to his friend, we discover just how much God seeks those who will walk in intimate fellwoship with Him. To this end Yeshua haMashiach/ prayed:

"That they all might be as I Father in you and you in Me, that they might be in us that the world will believe that you sent Me...(John 17:21-23)

The stories written in the Old Testament are for our admonition today, upon whom the ends of the world are come...(l Cor. l0:ll)

We were ages 30 and 26, when we did a "fearless moral inventory" of ourselves in light of God's word. We saw that were sinners in the eyes of God, and in need of the salvation, which Yeshua haMashiach/Jesus Christ came to earth to bring. Some folks are fearlessly and habitually doing inventory of the lives of others, but redemption comes when you let it begin with YOU, and you get right up close to that mirror of God's word, and admit it:

You are a sinner. Romans 3:23 points out to us that "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." The wages of sin is , but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Whom God hath set forth to be the propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare I say, at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him that believes in Yeshua. (Rom. 3:25)

"Moreover brethren, I would not that you should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; and all were baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea and all did eat the same spiritual meat. And did all drink of that Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ."

What does it mean to be baptized in a cloud? Or baptized in the sea? First of all, notice who the Apostle Paul calls the "fathers" of the believers here in Corinth. Paul speaks of the Israelites as the church fathers. What made them children of Israel? Faith.

They made the conscious decision to live by faith, and to wholy follow the Lord, whose Divine Presence manifested to them at that time, in a magnificent cloud that towered into the sky and overshadowed them from the burning heat, in a protective way. Some of you have made spiritual fathers of those whose doctrine has little to do with scripture. Secondly, look at whom Paul addresses this epistle about being baptized in the cloud and in the sea to:

It's directed to the Corinthians, among whom Paul had planted the church at Ephesus on his second missionary journey. Corinth was built on a narrow isthmus tying the Peloponnesian Penninsula to the Greek mainland. During the first century, Corinth was the capital of Achia, the seat of the Roman procounsel governing southern and central Greece. By divine inspiration of God this epistle is not addressed to the Corinthians alone, but it's addressed to all believers in Christ, for all time.

Paul's tremendous success in Corinth, surely had to do with the fact that he determined to know nothing among them, but Mashiach/Christ and Him crucified." (1 Cor. 2:2, 3:6-10) The pillar of cloud that accompanied the children during their wilderness journey was "the divine presence of God," who never forsook them in all of their trials, as they journeyed toward the Promised Land.(Nehemiah 9:19) Israel followed the guidance of the cloud. (Exodus 40:36,Psalm 78:14)

"All our fathers were under the cloud." (1 Cor. 10:1)

Israel marched under the pillar of cloud by day, as we see in Exodus 13:21, 14:19) and it covered or you could say immersed them in God's presence. Hadn't they known God back in Egypt? Yes, but when they all partook of the lamb for a house, they entered into covenant with God in a renewed way. There was not a weak nor feeble one among them. Some became weak and sick along the way, as they lost sight of the revelation of God, but to begin with, it was a tremendous miracle of God to see all of one mind and one accord focused on God for their direction, and living in divine health as such a large body of people. (Psalm 105:37)

All were baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the Sea. (1 Cor. 10:2)

The immersion was complete for all of them in the sea around them, and the cloud over them. Moses was their leader, and the scriptures emply the term "EIS" or into concerning the relationship of the Israelites to Moses, even as EIS or "into" speaks also of our baptism into Christ Jesus, in Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:46-48, Acts 19:5, and Galatians 3;27

And baptized in the sea...(1 Cor. 10:2)

If you, in your wildest dreams can imagine this Red Sea crossing, picture this: In order for such a massive amount of people to pass through the Red Sea in one night, here's one possible idea. If they crossed on a narrow path, double file;the line would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So there had to be space in the Red Sea, 3 miles wide for them to get through. They had to walk 5000 abreast to cross in one night.

"They ate the same spiritual meat. (1 Cor. 10:3)

This is a reference of the manna given miraculously by God in the wilderness. (Exodus 16:13) It's termed "spiritual" because of it's heavenly origin or character, even as Jesus is the True Bread of heaven, which the manna merely typifies or symbolized. Consider this: The Quartermaster general of the army calculates, and our friend Norm Fishler emailed us the article; that Moses would have had to have 1500 tons of food per day to feed this many people. Two freight trains, each a mile long would be needed to bring in the rations. They were in the desert, so would need 4000 tons of firewood and trains to bring it in just for one days supply of meals.

For they drank of that spiritual rock which followed them. (1 Cor. 10:4) Theirs was an abundant and continual access to a supernatural supply of water for the thirsty Israelites. It's been calculated by modern sources, that for these 3 million Israelites to have an adequate water supply, to drink and wash their dishes; 11,000,000 gallons of water would be required each day, and a freight train with tank cars, 1800 miles long to bring in the water. They followed God by faith, as obviously they didn't wait to accumulate provisions of this sort. But when needs arose, God met them, as Israel placed their trust in Him.

As we do this fearless moral inventory of which I spoke, acknowledging our sins, receiving forgiveness from God based upon the atonement Yeshua paid, we experienced the new birth, and according to the apostles teaching, are to be water baptized in Yeshua/Jesus wonderful name, and you can see the example of this first spoken at the inception of the New Testament church, as Apostle Paul preaches on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:38)

He said: "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yeshua haMashiach/Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Acts 11:15-16 calls thisgift "the like" or same gift as fell on the apostles in Acts 2, on the day of Pentecost.

When you get it, you will speak in tongues, like they did. We hear the games people play, between themselves and God. Some don't believe you really need to repent and turn from your sinful life-style to live for Jesus Christ.

Others say that they believe in repentance, but not in being baptized into Yeshua's name, or authority.

It's so important to obey God's word exactly as it says. We tell people to immerse themselves in Jesus Christ's name if they have to, or have your wife baptize you. But make sure that you are baptized according to the biblical mandate, and not just "man's tradition."

God, through the sacred scriptures themselves; authorizes you to baptize in Yeshua's name, based on Matthew 28:19. If people point to Matthew 28:19, to prove the correct formula should be in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, this verse cannot contradict the full counsel of scripture, and the apostles teaching and practice of baptizing on the Day of Pentecost, in Yeshua's name--Acts 2:38, baptizing the Samaritans in the name of Jesus in Acts 8:16, and Paul's baptism of the Ephesians in "Yeshua's/Jesus name, in Acts 19:5." We baptized him in Yeshua's name for the remission of all of his sins according to the way in which they baptized converts on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:38) because our "revelation of Yeshua haMashiach/Jesus Christ made us to want to obey what God said in the scriptures on this.

When you share salvation with a person and they receive Yeshua as Saviour and Lord, YOU baptize them the scriptural way. If you live in an area where the church has not yet come into this understanding from scripture that you now have, baptize your own wife and children. If you want to start a church, we license and ordain people who are seriously wanting to serve the Yeshua haMashiach/Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you have met those who claim to have the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, without speaking in tongues. In Acts 10:46-48, the apostles knew their converts were filled FOR they heard them speak with tongues. We must allow Godto dictate His will from His unchanging Word. The bible says that this takes "faith."

"By faith, Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward" Hebrews 11:24-26)

Have you asked yourself how Moses knew Christ? He knew Him by revelation, receiving Him in a figure. Like Abraham believing God was able to raise Isaac from the , was strong in his faith in God's promised word that in Isaac would his seed be called,so that he, Abraham received a revelation of Yeshua HaMashiach/Jesus Christ.

Moses prefigures Yeshua/Jesus Christ in His destiny and purpose. Yeshua is God's agent in leading this world out of slavery to sin and into a righteous and holy eternal life, which starts here and now, and carries over into paradise. Moses was born at a time when Satan had purposed, through infanticide to destroy infant Israeli children.

To save him, his mother put Moses in a little basket and set it in the Nile River. What courage of conviction, she had. Moses sister Miriam was posted to guard the baby. When Pharaoh's daughter came to the river to bathe, she discovered him and decided that she would adopt Moses as her own. In the courts of Pharaoh, Moses was taught in all the ways of a society that had chosen an "alternative" life-style and religion.

Yeshua/Jesus Christ was born, in the dynasty of wicked king Herod. Learning through the prophetic scriptures, that Messiah would be born, feeling his kingdom was threatened, Herod had all infants two and under killed. The Son of God survived, because God warned Joseph the step-father of Yeshua/Jesus in a dream; and he took the baby and his mother Mary and fled into Egypt, that the scriptures might be fullfilled; "I called My Son out of Egypt." (Hosea 11:1)

Our God who robed Himself in flesh in the person of Messiah, willed for all mankind to have a spotless lamb sacrifice to atone for their sins. Yeshua lived a sinless life, and died on a cross between two thieves. He arose the third day, and when He arose the graves of many opened and these resurrected people walked about the city and were seen by many witnesses.

Yeshua ascended into heaven, showing God's acceptance of His sacrifice. The ransom price for you has been paid. All you have to do is to believe and to receive it. When Yeshua ascended into heaven, He gave gifts to men. (And women) These are SIGNS & WONDERS demonstrating God's power in Mashiach/Christ over the devil who is Pharoah in this world.

God does not want your life to be destroyed. He has purposed a hiding place for you and this place is "in Yeshua/Jesus Christ." The bible says: The gospel is the power of God unto salvation, to everyone that believes; to the Jew first, but also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: "The just shall live by or out of his faith." (Romans 1:16-17)

All power in heaven and earth belong to Jesus, (Mathew 28:19) and He bestows this power on those who receive Him through forgiveness of sins. In Acts 1:8, Yeshua/Jesus prophesied: "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. "
We have dedicated our lives to God's will and purpose. Here are a few of the things God has called us to, that you might know us better in Jesus Christ, and this may help you to understand what God is also doing in your own life. You will also see how God speaks "prophetically" in the mouth of more than two or three witnesses...and confirms it.

God has called all of us to minister as "Ambassadors for Christ." Yeshua/Jesus said: "All power in heaven and in earth is given to Me. Go ye therefore and teach all nations..." (Matt 28:19) Through both God's word, as well as personal prophecy, God will reveal specifics of your calling in God. Everyone does not know that God not only calls, but uses the church and it's leaders to serve and equip others to carry out His will. That He will cause you to know what it is that he wants you to do.

We share this page for the interest of those who are interested in our calling, or their own prophetic destiny in God.. God has used a number of things to impart in us a heart for missions. First this has come through the direct commandment of Jesus called "The Great Commission." "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all that I command you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19)

The bible says: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) How do you love people that you don't even know? God sheds this love abroad in our hearts, and he does this in many different ways. We'll tell you some of them.

Jesus is the "Light of the World," and He wants to heal and restore you, and your entire family. Are you going through something that's a real trial for you? We'd like to help! God wants you to know and serve Him, in Jesus Christ. He wants you too, to walk in His power. Here are some of the ways that he has spoken to us. You have to hear God speak to you, to test it by God's Word, so you know it is God, and to obey His calling in your life. This is not as difficult as you might think. (John 10)

That you might war a good warfare according to the prophecies that have been spoken over you..." 1 Timothy 1:18

Do you know the importance of the prophetic word? Do you understand that you and other Christians who are faithful to pray, are casting up the highway of the Lord in your life, long before these various points in the road are reached along life's road? Which of the prophetic words spoken to you, could you ever have lived without? Even the smallest thing which comes from the mouth of the Lord, is so significant!

Through these words spoken to your church, to you as an individual and to your children, God imparts a revelation of your prophetic destiny. Your family, your church hears these things, watches the word of the Lord grow and develope in you, as you are faithful and yield to Yeshua haMashiach/Jesus Christ, to that fan in His hand, and that baptism of fire. The prophetic word can help you say yes Lord, when your flesh wants to recoil from God's will and to shrink back.

The word of God teaches us to "war" with these prophetic words which have been spoken over us. Secondly, it says that we should meditate upon the things of God, and give ourselves wholly to them, that our profiting might appear to all. (1 Timothy 4:13-16) Our family speaks to one another often of those things which God has promised us prophetically. We watch and pray for them with anticipation.

Some years ago, when we were going through a time of trial, Pastor Dan Hammer, of Sonrise Chapel in Everett, Wa. who didn't give us a lot of advice in the way of personal counsel, as to how we should get through this thing, did give "a prophetic word."

The word of the Lord came on New Years Eve and the Lord said:

"Rise and thresh, for I will make your horn iron and your hooves brass."

This had a ring to it in Alana's spirit, similar to the yell that they do in karate. God seemed to say: It's spiritual forces, and it's because of your calling! You'd better obey and arise! He wanted us to sow hope into the lives of people who felt as hurt as I did. This trial came to cause us to want to quit and give up! God didn't want us to turn inward, and lose our momenturm, but He wanted us to turn our attention toward the harvest field. So with renewed hope, we arose, stronger than before....and set back to work. But this time with a revelation of people's need for a sense of their "prophetic destiny." For God had shown us first hand that even in a persons darkest hour, it's "Whispering Hope."

The "prophetic word of the Lord" serves to drive home God's written word, even as that nail in a sure place. It holds you, as the anchor of the soul, sure and stedfast, which has entered into that wihin the veil; where our fore-runner has entered for us, even Jesus, made high priest forever after the order of Melchizekek. (Hebrews 6:19-20)

God has literally shaken kingdoms through this "one-liner." Don't ever despise prophecy, but meditate on those God has given to you, pray for the manifestation and timing of them and when God shows you aspects of them that you are to move into by faith, as Apostle Paul; "don't be disobedient to the heavenly vision, so to speak."

Here are some things God has said to us through various people over the years:

God first spoke to Tom during "silent prayer,"in a Presbyterian church, when he was a very small boy. Tom says: "Nobody talked during "silent prayer," because if you did, there was an old lady who would go around rap you. God just called Tom's name. "Tom" was all He said. But Tom knew that it was God.
Alana's first rememberance of God speaking was as a child during family altar." After breakfast, Daddy would read from the bible, and the whole family would kneel down on the kitchen floor beside their chair, and from the youngest to the oldest, each would pray. As Alana prayed to be a missionary like those who visited "Church By The Side of The Road," God spoke a knowledge into her heart, that she would be used to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
When Alana was still a single mom, raising three boys, God said: Do not be afraid, for I will not drop you nor lose you, for you are My precious jewell. "My word shall go forth through you like lightning and destroy the working of the devil. You will be used to heal the souls of many of My people, to reach out and bring light unto their darkened souls. I will do miracles through you My beloved." I am raising up one who will walk by your side and lead your family to Me. Your lives shall be full of fruit and riches and every such thing. (Jana Thurner: Jehoveh Shammah Ministries) How does God manifest His power in this way? He does this through the power of His Word, and personal prophecy. God's word is quick and powerful. Hebrews 4:12-13)
He said there will be an unsual gift of revelation knowledge, visions and prophecy. As she turned to walk back to her seat, God gave a verse: A prophet will the Lord God raise up...(John Decker: Director of Christian Broadcasting Network 700 Club: Bellevue Wa. 1984)
"This child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel. And for a sign which will be spoken against; Yes, and a sword shall pierce your own heart also, that the thoughts and intents of many hearts might be revealed."
At our wedding, God prophesied: "Fret not because of evil doers;" through Alice Henderson We've had some of these. Perhaps you have some of these in your life too. Don't worry about them, just keep your own heart right before God. (1984 )

In 1989, a guest speaker who had never met us ministered at Tyrone Garay's church: Praise Chapel in Everett said by a "word of knowledge" "You have a prophetic ministry." Pastor Dan Hammer at Sonrise Chapel in Everett prophesied on New Years Eve 1991-"Arise and thresh daughter of Zion: I will make your horn iron and your hooves brass."
Prophetess Fran Lance said by "word of knowledge" God shows you things about ministries. (1986)
You live in a dry, dry place, but it's going to blossom as a rose. The pastors are going to come together. It's going to be like when you were a little , remember? You are going to be used in drama somehow...(Cindy Jacobs-Generals of Intercession-1994)
While in Cornwall, England in 1994, as part of a 52 member prophetic/evangelism team, the leader said: Tom & Alana will take teams out. You watch! Alana is a mother in Israel! (Glo Bonnette-Director: Servants On Assignment During Open Meeting In Cornwall, England)
Tom was invited to speak at Auburn FGBFI, and afterward as they ministered in prayer and prophecy to us, God said:"I see angels all around you, many angels ministering to you." The bible says they camp around those who reverence God. FGBFI-1996) "It's like Boaz and Ruth, you surrendering to God, God covering you with His mantle. It's for the nations." (Prophet Jeff Ching-1997)"You will sing, teach and prophesy." (Lee LaCoss-Prophet) God is going to cause you to understand the importance of the "Song of the Lord." (Kathy-King's Way-1991)Tom: You work in rock or stone fabrication. As it is in the natural, so it is with the spiritual. (Pastor: River City Chr. Center, Redland, Ca.)

And from God's holy word: "That according to the prophecies which went before on you, that by them you might war a good warfare...holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made ship-wreck." (1 Timothy 1:18-19)
