THE DANCES OF RECRUITMENT

In the "Dance of Manahaim," as see in Song of Solomon 7; is also seen the "The Dance of Recruitment." In ancient times, new recruits were called, from villages using dances. All of these people loved to dance, and the military leader would come to town, and there in the town square would stage "A DANCE."

Satan uses this method of recruitment, but unfortunately, the church does not always use everything at their disposal to preach the gospel, and to call souls out of darkness and into the light. God wants "new recruits" for His army, for these become His sons and daughters. In Psalms 45:17, what is promised?

For the church, "harvest-time" is also a "military campaign," because the church enters into territory that has belonged to the "powers of darkness."

In Song of Solomon 7:2, the midst of the bride is compared to "a sheaf of wheat set with lilies." In time of harvest, the bales of wheat were "decorated in this way." Wheat in scripture speaks of souls. As the Body of Christ is nourished from that which wells up from within the innermost being of the church, so that it is enhanced, to it is with these souls who come into the kingdom of God during His end-time harvest. They will be built up by what every joint supplies. (Ephesians 4)

There is more to becoming a Christian than just joining a "dance circle" that has gathered in a public park as a "praise and worship time. But many find that this type of outreach is a marvellous way to share ones faith in Jesus Christ.
