OK/O/6482 - Loi Hui Kok (Imtec)

These are some of the images I've managed get into digital format.  The images are kept small for faster download but the unedited images will be compiled to a CDR.

To go straight to some problems I'm having with Loi's case, click here

I've studied both models of Loi's case and there are major discrepancies in both the orientation of the customized abutments and the seating of abuts at the gum.  These differences are substantial enough not to allow fitting of the already completed porcelain bridge.

First upper master model.

Milled abutmentss with satisfactory adaptation to the gingival contours.

Side view of abutments.
Second upper master model.

The mis-orientation of abutment (#4) is obvious.
Cervical adaptation is far from ideal.

Upper Left quadrant.

From the side, the gingival adaptation is even more obvious.

The gingival should be allowed to heal post-op instead of having an impression taken immediately.

Upper Right quadrant.
Note gingival adaptation of anterior abutments.

The newly replaced fixture is first from right.

The fitting of the previously completed bridge is very compromised.

With only 2 abutments, of any combination, the bridge does not fit!

We're looking at the possibility of a total redo.

The newly replaced fixture is obstructing the fit of the lower porcelain bridge.

Please advise.
