The World of T'serrin...


The world of T'Serrin and in particual, the Land of the
Realms, is much different that a world you can possibly
conceive. It is a land filled with dark mysterys and magic.
The Realms is but a continent, if you will. Made up of
small kingdoms. Each one ruled by its own type of judicial
goverment. Some being diplomatic, and some being more of
a tyrannical. Between these kingdoms are much open land,
some well travelled, some untraveled and some are where
man would want to travel. There is a range of terraines
and enviroments within the realms. Ranging from the quite
pleasant and fertile valleys, to high reaching mountains.
There are lush and thicketed forests and frozen tundras,
swamp landsand massive plains that stretch out for miles.

There are several races of beings that inhabit the Realms.
they are boken into 5 ditinct catagories: The Elves and
Dwarves, who are the oldest living races in the world. Then
there are the Gnomes and Hobbits and lastly the humans,
who are one of the last races to appear in the world as
of late. Each of these races have sub-classes. For instance
within the elven race, there are wood elves, sun elves, ice
elves and so forth.

Sharing this world with us are other beings as well that
are, well, less than friendly, they range in a variety of
forms and they are numerous. Orcs, trolls and ogres. just
to name a very small handful. There are more beasts and
monsters in this world than I dare to catologue here.
To the top of this list, I should mention "DRAGONS!" Ah,
Yes thate are very real here in the Realms and throughout
much of the world as you may see. And these dragons have
a secret they are not willing to share with others for
fear of their very lives!

To keep the balance of right and wrong, the mother world
has a special nature. This nature is what we call "TRUE
MAGIC". Ah yes, the arcane magics that your world lacks
is very real to us on T'serrin. It is governed by the two
moons that encircle out planet, Seyr and Arweyn. By their
Rising and shifting, the powers of magic can be greatly
affected. This magic is taught in a variety of ways. One
way is through our schools. Another is through the will
of our gods. there is a third way, but a way that if seen
As evil an forbidden. they call themselves Psionists, but
most call them devils and demons. But enough of that.

What? oh yes we have many dieties that we pray too. Well
With such a diverse society of races, one is bound to. At
one time they were all seperately worshipped by their own
races, but after the "Great War of the Races," they all
came together. Now it is quiet common for humans to pray
to, say, Brandywine, the dwarven goddess of the home and
cooking. Unfortunatly, there are also a band of evil gods
as well, to keep the force of balance well in line. And
Yes they are worshipped by some. But what can one do?

Well, there is not much more I can say about T'serrin with-
out going into a long novel, or two or three. the rest
is best discovered in these stories I bring you. These
Stories take place amist two kingdoms, for the most part.
The first one is "Long Dell," where the stories start and
move to "Ara-tone." With in the entire Realms, they are
not the biggest or most powerful nations, but legends are
known to spring from much less.
