Thackeray Sealed up to Retain Flava

One of the University of Pittsburgh's flyest buildings is getting a makeover. Thackeray Hall, once known throughout the country as one of the premier buildings of funk, has been losing its touch for the last few years. It's fresh look has been seeping out, so the University stepped in with plans to preserve the soul of this building. "The first step was to shrink wrap it to seal in it's flava'" claimed a particularly fly University spokesperson. "Underneath the plastic is where the action is happening. When that plastic comes off, you won't ever recognize Thackeray-What-What anymore." When Thackeray was first built back in the 70's, it attracted youths far and wide who had heard of it particular taste and funky style. In fact, it became so popular that it was frequented by Hollywood superstars, including the legendary actor Richard Roundtree, whose character "Shaft" defined a decade. Since the early 90's however, it has begun to lose its edge and slowly become less and less attractive to the fresh youth of America. So the University decided to step in and give it a brand new look.

No one is quite sure exactly was is in store for this bitchin' old building, as the plans have been kept strictly in secret. Speculation is rampant, however, and some experts feel that its new look will be revolutionary in the way education structures are built for years to come.
