We here at PittSkews have received our first hate mail, naturally from a Penn State Student. On Oct. 9th, Jessica Cook writes:
Hmmm, it seems that you talk aLOT about PSU in your articles, and even took the time to put the logo on the page! Wow, you are really that obsessed that you can't even have your page JUST about Pitt, you must include Penn State as well. I must say I'm flattered, because here in Happy Valley we coulnd't care less about Pitt and quite frankly we just DON'T care about Pitt. But, again, I think it's nice that you want to include us so much. It's truly a complement and I must just say I am sorry that you aren't a Penn Stater. I bet if you went here you'd have something better to do than mock other colleges! But, it's ok, because I understand you go to PITT... sorry again!!
First off, Jessica, I CHOSE to come to Pitt. If I wanted an education as second-rate as the Nittany Lions, I would have chose Penn State. The grammar in your letter shows just how high of a quality of education they teach you out there in Happy Valley. Secondly, you stress the fact that you don't care about Pitt and don't think about them at all, but obviously you took the time to write to a Pitt website about your feelings. See, it's not that you just naturally don't think of Pitt, you don't think of Pitt because of the painful remind of the 12-0 ass kicking the Panthers delivered the last time that Penn State was in town. Hmm, and we haven't played since have we? I wonder why. It probably has something to do with fear and shame and the realization that Pitt is the dominant team, and that goes for ALL sports, not just football. Jessica, before you feel like wasting our time again, why don't you try pulling your head out of your ass before you start typing, so maybe you could come up with a good argument. No, Jessica, I'M the one who's sorry, sorry that your naive little mind has been made to believe that Penn State could ever live up to the prestige and dominance that are the Pittsburgh Panthers.
