  • Wrote web pages, instructor guides; student manuals; job aids; quizzes; performance checklists; and tests using best practices and branding guidelines. Course formats consisted of Accelerated Learning, web-based, classroom-based and Centra courses.
  • Collaborated with subject matter experts and multidisciplinary teams to create lessons that communicated well to trainers and ensured learning transfer for internal and external students.
  • Produced and presented a course every six weeks for the past 18 months. All courses for internal staff were finished and delivered prior to software release and then branded for external training audiences.
  • Designed and developed first web site for Internal Training Team using Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash.
  • Created two MS Access databases to enhance group accountability for time tracking, charge-backs, and class rosters.
  • Presented at CISPI Best Practices Workshop, fall 2004, for course design, development, and Level Three evaluation project.
  • Developed project plans that featured multiple contingencies. Communicated project plans to department leadership and to multidisciplinary teams for the purposes of activity coordination, planning purposes, and resource sharing.

  • Lead a five-member team formed to expand distance learning beyond WBT. Created job aids for trainers and developers outlining tips for converting legacy courses into WBT, Citrix, WebEx and multi-format courses.
  • Monitored and developed technical training for Tellabs personnel—both on a collaborative and sole contributor basis. Design and early development were sometimes done without access to labs, hardware, software, or subject matter experts.

  • Designed, authored, and edited documents and courses for a variety of clients, including an international benefits management company; national bank training group; and an Internet real estate company.
  • Wrote 50% of rapid prototype pages for a client’s web-based benefits administration industry. These 2000 full-content templates reduced web production time from 16 to 4 weeks for each project.
  • Produced web pages in XML format, allowing page content to change based on login profile.
