Scientists claim their skepticism
on evolution
In an effort to dispel the claim that all scientists agree with
Darwin's theory of evolution, 100 scientists recently declared their
skepticism.
One of the signers is five-time Nobel nominee Henry "Fritz"
Schaefer. Others who signed include professors and researchers from
Princeton, MIT, U Penn, Yale, UC Berkeley, Texas A&M, the Smithsonian,
NASA and the National Labs at Livermore, CA, and Los Alamos, NM.
Some of the fields represented are biology, chemistry, anthropology,
biochemistry, geology, neuroscience, physics and astronomy.
"Most Darwinists want people to think that the only criticism
of Darwin's theory today is from religious fundamentalists,"
said Discovery Institute President Bruce Chapman. "They routinely
try to stigmatize scientists who question Darwin as 'creationists,'
but this is simply not accurate."
