Status Within

I have received a few e-mails as of late, asking what exactly is meant by the terms "Hidden", "Stasis", and "Dismissal".
First of all, allow me to explain that I do not pretend to know for certain the status of any of our Aspects. No one truly knows except the Aspects, themselves. However, I shall explain the categories, and why some are categorized as they are.

Hidden
We categorize an Aspect as having been hidden when we no longer sense them directly, and they have met at least two of three stipulations:
1. They seem to have put their affairs in order pror to their "departure";
2. They were a help, rather than a liability, to the Collective;
3. They are not in Stasis.

Stasis
Stasis is rather like a place of rest, or hibernation, if you will. Those in Stasis are only sometimes sensed directly, and have gone missing. We place an Aspect in the category of Stasis if:
1. We are unsure of their true status;
2. Things seem "unfinished";
3. There is not evidence of having been hidden or dismissed.

Dismissal
This is one many people have difficulty understanding, and not all Inside agree with the stipulations. Dismissal is actually a term that leads one to believe that those in this category are forever gone; that may not be the case. As I said, none of us are certain when it comes to the status of an Aspect.
In order to be considered dismissed, an Aspect must meet at least two of three stipulations:
1. They were a liability or danger to the Collective;
2. Their departure was violent or upsetting;
3. They are not in Stasis.
Several pastors have told us that those having been dismissed were, in fact, demons. Truth be told, I am not certain of that. However, I will say that it would not surprise me if they were, and if that is the case, I do sincerely hope they have gone, permenantly.
