SEEKING HOME AGAIN
When your soul finds that friend
And your heart can sing again
your mind dances in the wind
coming home home again
When you can’t stop a silly grin
past wounds start to heal and mend
Fight hard to straighten out the bends
making your own home again
Find a beginning after an end
Remembering what it all really meant
slipping in to way back when
you were home home again
See your naiveté and innocence
In that life of petty violence
never have to go back to that since
You’ll make your own home again
There’ll be a feel of stableness
Enjoying a life you used to resent
Tasting successes chocolate mint
You found a new home again.
