Roger's Rangers are remembered in history for their attack
                                on the St. Francis indians.  The movie "Northwest Passage"
                                starring Spencer Tracy is entertaining for the non-Abenaki
                                but far from accurate. Rogers himself, wrote in his journals, 
                                many exaggerations of this horrific event on Oct. 4, 1759.
