I was just on soyouwanna.com and that site rocks as usual. Now I have a list of things I wanna do! AUGH! I want to .. 1)Clean my room 2)Organize my closet 3)Paint my room 4)Find an apartment in nyc 5)Go garage-saleing 6)Make a low budget-movie/ Did you know these:

Never wear head-to-toe denim. (Silly, maybe, but true nonetheless. You'll look like a convict or a cowboy.)
Never wear sneakers with hose.
Never tuck your shirt into belted jeans.
Never wear pleated jeans.
Never match your makeup with your outfit.
Never wear black velvet in the summertime.
Never overdose on a single fabric (don't wear nylon bottoms with a nylon top). Never wear large costume jewelry.
Never wear a coat that has big, gold buttons.
Never let your panty lines show.

I follow most of them. I sometimes match eyeshadow to the color shirt I'm wearing because I like it, but its a rarity. And I wear sneakers with hose when I go to dance class. LOL..its not like I'm going to the mall like that.

In case you were wondering, cayce wanted me to write that last little paragraph. Its not aimed at you or anything. LOL. You know what? Dance performance and acting performances are so different. While we're dancing, we (usually) have to smile the whole time. Its just .. so much different. You wait backstage in costume, you run out there smiling and twirling, and then you run off and switch costumes. Acting..instead of doing the dance moves over and over, you are reciting your lines. If you've ever been in a dance recital, you know what I mean. LOL..its WEIRD..

so anyway, I did good again tonite, probably better than yesterday because ed (fake name i dunno his real name, but he was ed during the show) told us the audience wasnt particularly enthusiastic. dumb old people. this horrible singer sang just a prayer away...and afterward she walked past me and said i did great and i was like umm "you too!" ..then she walks away and im like oh jeeez..i just lied :) lol oh well. So .. I'm standing there and all the people are coming out saying good job, i loved your dance blah blah blah..im standing there, shaking peoples hands saying thank you with a big smile as sincere as I can make it after sitting 3 hours backstage...its all good :)

ew. i should wash my hands.

oh ya, i also tried to call cayce again and she was out with NICK! BAH! :) i told aly to tell her i hate her. hehe. aly told me she kicked their dog. LOL!! and then she said the dog got run over and she had me for a second :)

You bounce down the hallway with a pouty frown on your face. You are so self-involved you run into the boy whose father left when he was only 5. The boy doesn't even feel you push him as you race to tell your girlfriends about some meaningless thing someone else said that someone else told to their boyfriend. While you chat away about it, the girl whose mom has a heroine addiction walks by. You sneer and laugh and ignore her because her clothes are outdated, but her mom's habit wastes away all her money and she is struggling to save money for college. And then you run into the bathroom to fix your hair and you don't even notice the girl in the stall puking her guts out because she can't deal with her parents getting a divorce. You race out the door at the last bell to get home and write in your diary about your terrible day as so many others don't want to go home to their real problems.

there ya go cayce :)

The Lord of the Rings

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of tone,
Nine for the Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the shadows lie.

Ahhhh one more time for the swing dance :) I dont get why I had to be there at 6:15, nothing even happened till 7:30, and I didn't go on till almost 10 or something. I thought it was good and went well and stuff. There were these dumb people doing a dumb thing and they had this boy that did it with them and he always walked around with his shirt off (he had it off to perform, but sheesh, I had a leotard on with pants so HE can cover up too! BAH). He didn't look any more than 14 or 15 and he was out in the courtyard with those women smoking a cigarrette. Everyone that danced with me thought he was cute till they saw him do that. They were all like ewwww. LOL moron. I tried to call cayce while I was sitting backstage for an hour but her phoneline was BUSY (MORON!) so I just hung out. I didn't mess up or anything..yaay. I saw jennifer (her brother sang) and she was as stuck up as usual lol. I said hi and she was like hi and she walks away. No "good job" or "how are you"..NOW I remember why I dislike her. I also saw mrs smith. Now I know she doesn't like me cuz she didn't say good job either. On the other hand, every other stranger and friend I saw there was very nice. So yay. And also, I hope this gets me in the civic theater in crowd. I picked up a paper for auditions for "Godspell" next month if anyone is interested lol. I wish I could do it, but you have to prepare 16 bars of a song. I hardly remember what a bar means. And I don't want to sing. But if anyone wants info..:-D I'm tired.

Kylee @ 11:49 PM

Well I'm back. I was floating in the pool in a little float thing that is really comfy :) There was a big spider in the water...aaahh. I was reading lord of the rings some more..its getting really interesting :) I decided to come in when my cd player died and I realized I didn't know what time it was. I have to take a shower, dry my hair, put on my tights, leo and pants, and put on stage makeup. That last one is the best part. :) My cd player died on "the breaking of the fellowship"...that lord of the rings soundtrack is really good to listen to while you read the book cuz the lyrics don't distract you. My mp3 player is so dumb..I put on over 100 songs, it selectively plays 70 of them. BAAAH. OK, I better see someone I know at the performance tonite >:-O

hm. its a beautiful day outside...and im in here. I think I should change that. But how? Sigh sigh.

Cayce complained about my posts being too long. Well ya, the soccer post was long and so was the song exerpts, but she has her fair share of long posts...surveys, songs, and all that crap. SO HAA! I am officially 1/2 the way through the Two Towers (lotr)!! :-DDDD. I'm about 30 pages from Frodo and Sam..finally. I'm dying to know what happens to them. Last night was dress rehearsal and I didn't mess up...the acts are pretty good. The opening act is a group that frickin thinks they are nsync or something. They are funny, but they sing good too. There's an opera singer too, I like that lol. The temptations group..a band, a couple old dudes singing..dancers, flipsters...and I like the layout of the show. They treat it like a real live show, and the black and white tvs on the side make it look like the real ed sullivan show. So, if you have any support for me, please come to it tonite or tomorrow night! Its $10 admission and it starts at 7:30 at Haven's Auditorium. You all should know where that is. If not, IM me. After the show there is a "curtain call" in the hallway..you walk down the hallway and clap I guess, I've never done one like that. lol. Though I got home at 10 after dress rehearsal, I was up till 1:30 reading my bloody book and I just got up like 50 minutes ago lol. Ooops..:-D

I'm bored, so I'll post exerpts from songs :-D

Lovers in the long grass
Look above them
Only they can see
Where the clouds are going
Only to discover
Dust and sunlight
Ever make the sky so blue

Afternoon is hazy
River flowing
All around the sounds
Moving closer to them
Telling them the story
Told by Flora
Dreams they never knew
-Enya, Flora's Secret

Once, as my heart remember,
All the stars were fallen embers.
Once, when night seemed forever
I was with you.

Once, in the care of morning
In the air was all belonging.
Once, when that day was dawning.
I was with you.
-Enya, Fallen Embers

Pilgrim, how you journey
On the road you chose
To find out why the winds die
And where the stories go.

All days come from one day
That much you must know,
You cannot change what's over
But only where you go.
-Enya, Pilgrim

extreme songs that told me
they helped me down every night
i didn't have much to say
i didn't get above the light
i closed my eyes and closed myself
and closed my world and never opened
up to anything
that could get me along

i had to close down everything
i had to close down my mind
too many things to cover me
too much can make me blind
i've seen so much in so many places
so many heartaches, so many faces
so many dirty things
you couldn't believe
-Moby,Extreme Ways

the heat is on its own
the roof seems so inviting
a vantage point is gained
to watch the children fighting

so lead me to the harbour
and float me on the waves
sink me in the ocean
to sleep in a sailor's grave
to sleep in a sailor's grave
-Moby, Harbour

as the sun was set
and the pieces of light touch your hair
perfect love come softly
with the dawn, the dawn
city once full of people
desolate, is desolate
we look back in
to the ruins where we played

at least we were together
holding hands
flying through the sky
at least we were together
holding hands
flying through the sky
sky
-Moby,Sleep Alone

Once I had my heroes
Once I had my dreams
But all of that is changed now
The truth begins again
The truth is not that comfortable no
Mother taught us patience, virtues of restraint
Father taught us boundries, and knowledge we must go
I'm trying to protect my unity
That's when I reach for my revolver
That's when it all gets blown away
That's when I reach for my revolver
The spirit passes by this way
-Moby, That's When I reach for my Revolver

I've seen it all, I have seen the trees,
I've seen the willow leaves dancing in the breeze
I've seen a friend killed by a friend,
And lives that were over before they were spent.
I've seen what I was - I know what I'll be
I've seen it all - there is no more to see!
-Bjork, I've seen it all

hmm..thats enough reading for now :-D

I have a list of things I want to do before I turn 21...but its all in my head. Does anyone actually write that crap down? You should try it by COMMENTING to this post...I'll try and write down some of my things...
-Visit New York
-See a Broadway play or musical
-Go out of the country, preferably to Europe or New Zealand.
-Visit Sally in Cali
-Take karate
-Write a movie and film it using friends as cast members. (any takers on this one? lol)
-Find the watch buried in my closet that beeps for 20 seconds everyday at 5.
....im sure I'll think of more of these later..

right now im about to go and dry my hair..I considered going outside but eh..its kinda cloudy. I'm determined to take a bike ride while listening to enya or moby at some point..I should make a mix cd with their songs..After I dry my hair, I have to apply stage makeup. *G* YAY :) . There's a bonfire tonite too, but I'll probably be at rehearsal until 10 again, and I really don't have any desire to go to it..besides, there's another coming up july 12...I don't wanna spend the night either. Well..not unless I'm really energized that day. I don't think it will be a spend the night one anyway..whatever. We need to find better stuff to do than bonfires. Though, I must say, our bonfires *ARE* pretty good :)

bye for now.

I thought this was funny because I agree with some of it lol

TIME - Monday, Jun 17, 2002

There are just two things about the World Cup that prevent Americans from caring: it involves soccer and the rest of the world. We could get over the soccer part eventually. After all, it’s kind of like the soccer we make our suburban children play, only without the goal scoring. But the global part just isn’t going to happen. When I hear that Tunisia is playing Belgium for the crucial Group H runner-up spot, all I want is a map.

The only way Americans are going to learn another country’s name is if it attacks us. It’s different for the rest of the world. Other countries have all kinds of disagreements and problems with one another. They are dealing with one another constantly, making treaties and trading currencies and whatever else it is they do. The World Cup is mildly entertaining because you get to see them sublimate their little issues by kicking a ball at one another, sort of like watching your children backyard-wrestle. Senegal beats France, and the Senegalese throw a huge party venting their anger over two centuries of French colonialism. Imagine how much fun it is for anyone to act superior to the French, and multiply that by Senegal. And last Friday England and Argentina got to work out whatever their deal was with those islands.

When Iran beat us four years ago, the Iranians went crazy in the streets. How anyone could have differentiated this from what Tehran normally looks like, I’m not sure, but apparently there were especially powerful American-flag flames. But I’m glad they beat us, since we wouldn’t have enjoyed it if we had won. We don’t throw ticker-tape parades for beating Iran at stuff, because if we did, we’d be short on ticker tape. The only thing we could possibly lose to Iran at besides soccer is subjugating women.

Now that Russia isn’t important, there’s no one for us to get juiced about. The Taliban, unfortunately, don’t even have a soccer team, which doesn’t make sense since they spend all that time at camps. We have the same problem with the Olympics. We like those new fake sports we force the Olympic committee to include so we can win, like beach volleyball, snowboarding and major-motion-picture production. But unless the games are held either in America or Utah, we’re not going to watch people pole vault. Unless they get hurt doing it. Then we’ll watch it over and over again.

If the world really wants us to watch their cute little no-handsy sport, they’ve got to make an effort. The world has done a poor job marketing this World Cup thing to us. There’s no Burger King tie-in, no campaign with Matthew Perry going Soccer Crazy as a pre-emptive excuse for going to rehab. Would it be too much to ask that France’s Zinedine Zidane develop Le People’s Eyebrow? You know who’s doing World Cup commentary on TV? Me neither, but I’m pretty sure it’s not Snoop and Ozzy Osbourne. I can’t understand why I’m not in charge of everything. And just because Americans grew up playing soccer in adolescence doesn’t mean we want to watch other people do it; we also grew up bowling and arguing about who should hang up first.

The intrinsic problem with soccer is that a goal can occur at any time, including breaks for nachos, beer or the bathroom. Unlike the rest of the world, with their soccer and cricket and goat malleting, we have perfected our sports so that you only have to tune into the last two minutes to see if Shaq can hit his free throws. We’re a busy people. Look, we’ll watch the World Cup when we win the thing and not a second before.

Hm..yesterday was the first rehearsal..I almost died of pity at this group of older women who did a .. "dance" to egyptian songs. They were all overweight but still wiggling themselves and shaking their bootys..it was wrong. The stage was a lot more slippery than I remember it to be lol. There are some really good acts in the show, you should all come to it. :) Today I saw a group do a Temptations mix, and they sounded great. And some girls did amazing grace..wooo! Its all good :) ...The thing with the pledge of allegiance, that's such crap. Just people looking for some trouble...blah blah blah. Oh well, I never say the pledge of allegiance in my school anyway. Now I'm sitting here sleepy and stuff...I think i should go to bed.

this is nifty.

Here's how you disable AIM Advertisements:

Make sure AIM isn't running (not even the icon in the tray). Use notepad to open aim.odl. Scroll down to where there are two sections that have "advert" followed by "required". Remove the word required in both cases, and save the file. Now delete or rename your advert.ocm file (I renamed mine advert.bak). Now start AIM. When you sign on, no more annoying advertisements at the top of your buddy list.

:)

Hmm..later today I have a rehearsal for the civic theater performance (which everyone should go to)..I have to find all stuff for that..bloody..I dunno if I am supposed to be in costume. EH! I hope they don't change their minds and use ballet shoes cuz I'll slip and fall. I know I would. Well, nothing much other than that..see ya..

Kylee @ 5:53 PM

YAAAY I got me new contacts and they actually are good. YAY for me! I went to optical one and got them there..they are nifty there. Nifty people. Then I went to meijer (saw mr lewis..eeeek saveth me) and I bought some sunglasses. I CAN WEAR SUNGLASSES! YAAAAY! I also walked to the library and found this nifty book of video camera tricks and effects. They are like..THIS nifty. So yay for me everyone! yay yay yay. *HAHAHA to cayce also*.

Kylee @ 5:51 PM

Hellohello. Wonderful day..for other people. I got up this morning to go to Dr Tavel to get new glasses and crap...the airhead says there is one person in front of us..meanwhile, an hour and a half later, 3 people have gone before us and one more is yet to go. So we walked out. Screw them! I did find some cute frames but it wasn't worth it. I can find the same exact ones somewhere else. Which reminds me, I have an appointment at a different place at 3:30. Yay. And also, I have cramps. I feel the need to be emotionally wrecked, so I went on kazaa to download the episode of er where carter and lucy get stabbed...of course I couldn't find it, but I did find the one where dr. greene dies. That'll do. And I also found the season finale. I left it downloading all night and I still don't think its done...nope, it has "9 hours" left. Eh, oh well. Last night when I went to go watch the crap I taped, I put it on fox to discover x-files was on. And I rewound my tape too far, and I found an episode of friends. So I was torn between x-files, friends, and er. Normally it would be x-files, no contest..but this episode was "Home". *shiver*. I was lucky enough to turn it on right at the part where they are about to...reproduce. *shiver*. The friends ep I had just seen, so the only thing left was er. I made the right choice...Home woulda creeped me out before bed. *shiver shiver*. The site of an armless legless disfigured woman at midnight is just not good at all.

Hoooooom...that's what those tree things in Lord of the Rings always say..hoom. Ents. That's what they are called, ents. They aren't hasty. Hehehe...I love this book. I'm talking about the two towers. You know that simulacra/simulation book I was talking about? The library doesn't have it. (WTF! I thought that the library had everything) I want to read it..it sounds interesting. I wonder how old it is...im so dumb. I went swimming again. Actually, I was on here messing with my blog and allison came over and pounded on my window. I jumped like..well, I jumped. We went on a walk and she turned into a jealous ex when she saw her ex "jogging" with someone. What is with the freshmen and jogging..:P. We went to the ice cream place..soupy banana split thing..yipee. Tomorrow I will get my eyes checked so I can get contacts. You know what? The webcam picture is from 1:30 today..I always forget to turn the software on and off..and I want to turn it on and off manually..so you all don't get an eyefull...wink. Eh, I'll leave it..my hair at 1:30 was actually brushed..now its dried halfway and stuck to my head. Hm. Oh yea. When allison knocked on my window, I was just about to watch er. I figured I wouldn't have anything to watch later tonite so I told my vcr to tape it. I also took advil because I felt cramps coming on and I think I may have killed them. so yea, I guess I'll go watch er now . unless friends is on...hmm...hey, how come fox doesn't have a late-night tv show like letterman or leno? that's weird... ta-ta.

Yesterday I mindlessly put the tv on NBC and *dun dun dun* , ER was on. 2 guys robbing a store and nurse hathaway stuck inside. One of the robbers was Ewan McGregor. I was like 'wow, that guys scottish...hey wait..'. Even though he killed somebody in the store, it was still sad when he died at the end cuz you could tell he didn't really want a life of crime, and carol sympathized with him because he didn't really mean to kill anyone, just like she didn't mean to kill someone by giving them the wrong blood. Or maybe it was sad because it was Ewan McGregor that died. Who knows! I was reading philisophical stuff about the matrix last night, and its really cool. The matrix seems to be based on the bible, but its actually based on Simulacra & Simulation by someone who's name is too hard to spell at the moment. I also like how people say Tank, Neo and Trinity are like the holy trinity (father, son and holy ghost)..tank is father, he watches over the matrix..neo is the son obviously, and trinity the holy ghost , she, I guess..brings neo back to life (?). I dunno, its cool though lol. And Tank and Dozer are the only ones that were born in the real world, and their names are man made machines, while everyone else that was born in the matrix have computer-related names (Switch, Cypher). Another funny thing..Cypher says when he is inserted into the matrix, he wants to be someone important, like an actor. And Agent Smith calls Cypher "Mr. Reagan". I never noticed that. Could it be that Cypher is ronald reagan ;) . I dunno, I thought that was kinda funny.
My point of the day - stuff is funny to only me sometimes.

Ah, summer.

:)

I've been on the computer for like an hour and a half and it doesn't matter to me, because its summer :). No place to go for sure...if only I could drive. *Shiver*. Its cold in here. Its probably 90 outside though, so I'm happy. I wish people would actually come to my journal. It can't be that un-entertaining, right? Well, I have a nice bruise on my hip from my big stupid fall. And one on my arm. Aren't I so clever? *SIGH!* I wanna go somewhere today. Maybe if I take a shower I spiffy myself up, someone will take me to the mall..

Ding ding doong...my bum hurts lol. I was running out the sliding door and I slipped on the linoleum and fell out of it down a step and landed on my hip. I have a carpet burn bruise on my arm, a booboo on my hip, and my toe kinda hurts too. My mom thinks I have internal injuries..lol..

Sorry I haven't updated for a day, I've already gotten sick of diaryland. I remembered I had a blog here, so I've been trying to fix it up. I was having problems with it until I realized it was hosted through geocities which doesn't allow ftp anymore. That's why I totally left GeoCities. So I had to switch over to angelfire. Bloggers aren't the best, but they are reliable for the most part...I have a lot more control over this too. Hooraay. Anyway, yesterday was the last day of DE and I did good in the class. BreAnne and Olivia came over yesterday and swam. We put all the floatation devices on breanne. HEHE. Then today, Bre, Cayce, Mary, and Allison came over and swam. Lots of pics and video :) I don't have a pic of the day at the moment, but I'll upload a couple and post them later. They'll prolly be funny ones from yesterday :-D. Also, I found a bunch of pics from the last day of school I didn't know I had lol..so I gotta do those too.I'm all burnt. :) I HAVE A LITTLE COLOOR!! Yay :) Thats all.
Babye.

I finished up Diana's soccer site and Cayce's Bob site (http://lakersoccer8.cjb.net and https://www.angelfire.com/weird2/caycenbob)

Hmm..picture of the day..hmhmhhm...

weee busy day. sorta. drivers ed in the morning and then straight to a teeth cleaning. the dental hygentist loves dumb smalltalk. i answered this way :"fine..yup...nope..10th grade...yup...yup...yup...". BAH! And I hadn't had them cleaned for like 3 years because I had braces, so she was sitting there scraping away and I felt like I was gonna pass out from the burning or throw up from the crap being rubbed on them. And then I waited for the dentist and I had a total itcy burning pain in my gums..lord. then while the dentist is checking out my teeth, i was thinking - "why do people ask 'how are you' or 'how are things going'"? I find it rather dumb. Its like all ur gonna say its "OK, Fine, Good, Great". Its not like people will actually be like "Well my dog is in surgery, I backed over my great grandmothers foot and my husband filed for bankrupcy"...unless theyre psycho or something. and then people DO elaborate, people think "jeesh shut up". later, me and motherbird went shopping..I tried on a tankini but I didn't like it. For lunch, I went to Marsh and got sushi and a salad. YUM! I also saw cayce there. Yay. We took Pooky to the vet and waited for like an hour. There were some pretty interesting people in there lol. These 2 ladies had a couple of bird and about 500 little kids. This old guy looked exactly like his bulldog. A couple had a bunny and kept talking to it. A couple people had tiny little kittens...this one couple brought in a huge dachshund that looked healthy but she left bawling and without the dog. Hm.Pooky has a limp and has to hop around on 3 legs, we thought she broke her foot. We got her on Halloween and her full name is Spooky (after spooky mulder) hehe. Well, we had the vet check and Pooky is a BOY! Sheesh..2nd time that's happened to me..we thought Wingnut was a boy until near her death. Turns out Pooky's leg was bitten and infected and its filled with pus, so he has to stay overnight. And...now I'm eating pistachios and watching the first episode of the simpsons. S'LOONG!

Well here is my spiffy new journal. I used to use deadjournal, but that place was pretty dark and scary and crappy..took forever. I actually have more creative control here too. Once I'm in a nonlazy mode, this diary will look superspiffy :) But for now, I'm using a dumb template :P I dunno what the format should look like..leave me a note if you have a suggestion.

Let's see, what have I done today..well, yesterday I went shopping..today I floated around a bit in my pool and put on some fake nails. I don't need the fake nails for the length (I actually had to trim them up a litle LOL), but the design is so nifty, they are like little flags. .. I jumped on a raft outside and water seeped onto it and about gave me hypothermia! Tis cold indeed...hehe. I was walking around with my cell phone outside to see if anyplace near my house will pick up a signal and I've discovered that in the back corner of my pool, it works! So when I have my cell outside, it will be hanging from a tree over there. I hope I will hear it when it rings lol. I also bought the 3rd lord of the rings book because I'm halfway through the second. Its really good. Someone said the ending of the 2nd is really intense..I can't WAIT :-D. For the rest of today, I'll probably just hang out by the pool or the computer..I thihk we're going out for a little fathers day dinner hehe. Yipee. Right now I'm about to brush my hair and go outside, possibly take my cell phone on a walk with me to see where in this town it actually picks up a signal..you see, as far as I have known before, it only really works about 4 miles out of town. That SUCKS! But its ok, I don't talk on it much at home anyway. I really hope it works by the creek, that would be a nice place to talk. Another thing I'm doin right now is listening to Dumb and Dumber..I love that movie lol. Hmph, I'm cold but its nice out. Probablu because I'm wearing a wet swimsuit and chewing on ice. Eh, I like my ice. So..yea..I'm leaving for a bit..oh ya..anybody know a british word for phone? I forget it..hmm..gimme a note on that too. BYE!
