Always There For You

Sometimes I don’t know where I’m going
God uses trails for my growing.
Lord, do you hear me when I call?
He said, “Yes, and I’ll catch you when you fall.”
Lord, do you care about all of my needs?
He said, “Yes, and your soul I will spiritually feed.”
I said, “Lord do you feel all my hurts inside?”
He said, “Yes, and my peace in your heart will abide.”
Lord, do you love me when I feel I fail?
He said, “My love’s unconditional, your work for me is well.”
I said, “Lord, do you believe in me when I have doubt?”
He said, “Yes, just have faith I will work all things out.”
I said, “Lord, will you help me through pain and strife?”
He said, “Yes, I’m in total control of your life.”
Lord, through the hard times, will you be there for me?
He said, “My child, I’ve been there if you only could see.”
I said, “Lord, do you see me when I start to cry?”
He said, “Yes, and I’ll wipe all the tears from your eyes.”
Lord, will you give the strength to still stand?
He said, “Yes, when you’re weak, I’ll lift you in my hand.”
I said, “Lord, am I special in your sight?”
He said, “Yes, you’re my child, a reflection of my light.”
Lord, when I have problems will your love remain true?
He said, “Yes, I will always be there for you.”
