I love my country and my soldier who serves it
I brag about them all the time
But when my soldiers heart was hit
Obviously someone has commited a crime
How dare my government send him to war
It's not an honorable thing at all
It burns and saddens me to the core
That my soldier had to fall
Damn the government!
Damn the military!
They were great when my soldier was sent
Nothing about it was scary
But now that my soldier has fallen down
Nothing at all anymore is well
It saddens and enfuriates my town
So Damn the military all to hell
Who would have thought that when my soldier signed
He'd go off to war and die
And now that it's MY soldier dead, I find
Myself asking the hellish military why
Why did they have to send him
It meant nothing when the others fell
But now my life and his are grim
So now that military can burn in hell.
. . .
