Khajuraho

We got up early to board the Jet Airways flight to Khajuraho. We were a little disappointed that the flight was 20 minutes late in arriving at the destination. All our previous experience with Jet Airways has been one of extreme punctuality. Aside from the timing, Jet Airways lived up to its reputation of having a clean modern aircraft, a 737-400, excellent service by the cabin crew,tasty food and lot of it.

A representative from the travel agency met us at the airport with the car and driver, that was to stay with us for the rest of our trip. This was actually the start of our Safari Package. The package included all hotel/lodges/tents and all meals at the game parks and breakfast only at Khajuraho & Nagpur .All travel between destination was also included, including taking us to the Nagpur airport. After collecting our luggage we were escorted to The Jas Oberoi hotel for checking in. We dropped our luggage, had a hurried but tasty lunch in the hotel restaurant and met our guide to go out for a tour of the temples.
