Inside the clouds.. The Old Ones

011810

This is the 4th day of the second moon.  Interesting to note we have been in a fog for 4 days now, no sun light dancing upon our faces, and then they are saying the fog will become rain...

I have an affection for this fog that has settled in around us now... as he/she reminds me of the one who settled around Hot Springs when I was there..  that one, he would settle down every night while I was at work and every morning by noon he would lift.  One night I came home from work and he was in my yard, so I curtseyed and said hello.  His mist was so thick that the water was gathering about every 20 feet, giant raindrops that when they fell they would hit the tree leaves and they were making the most beautiful sound, sounded like chimes.. and somehow my footsteps made the sound of leaves crunching.. It was so beautiful saying hello..

Today is the first day I start my new job, so I shall be driving there through the mist that has settled down around us.. on this 4th day of the second moon...

The Old Ones ~inside the clouds

After spending the week driving to work talking to the cloud being who had settled down here for the last 8 days, yesterday morning I stepped out the door and to my great delight I instantly became aware that they were standing there waiting for me. The feel inside the air was somewhat electric and all my foot steps became magnified by a crunching sound and as they talked I could hear the familiar sound of soft chimes inside their voice, it is the sound of their rain droplets moving through the air, in downward grace the song forms when they touch one another, touch the leaves, touch the ground... They said they were the Old Ones and that was the reason they were so slow to move, but had just been standing here looking around..

And all morning long then my heart rejoiced that they had stopped to say hello
