Lucas and Keith arrive in Chicago around noon and take a taxi to their hotel, after unpacking the go sightseeing. While at Navy Pier, Keith notices a beautiful girl walking in front of him. Lucas laughs as Keith takes a chance and walks up to her to invite her to have lunch with them. After their food arrives Keith and Lucas laugh and talk with Geneva, who looks like Vanessa Williams twin, is a part time model and waitress.
“So does everyone call you Geneva or is there a nickname” Lucas asks.
“Most call me Neva,” she says laughing.
Keith is enchanted by her beauty; her paper-sack tan skin and flashing hazel eyes. He realizes she is speaking to him.
“Keith, so how long are you and Lucas visiting this area?”
“Just the weekend, we needed a break; I hope you can spend more time with us today.”
“It sounds like fun, but maybe I can meet you later, I do have errands today, “she replies.

After finishing lunch and getting her information, they take a ride on one of Lake tour boats.
“This is really beautiful, I’m glad you decided to let me come, Keith.”
“It seemed like the thing to do,” Keith says laughing.

That evening Neva brings friend to meet with them for dinner at The Hard Rock Café.
“WOW what a cab ride, “says Lucas, after they are seated at their table.
“Hey guys, this is Mandy,who is a lighter skin version of Shandie Newton with Brownish Auburn curls, a friend visiting from my hometown in Texas, her Mom is my best friend.”
“Nice to meet you,” she says smiling.
Lucas is awestruck, her tan skin and hazel eyes leave him momentarily speechless, he is not surprised to find she also models part time but is also going to nursing school.
“Nice to meet you,” he utters after a few minutes.

It is hard to hear in the restaurant so after dinner they all take a cab to a small café for dessert and coffee.
“Now this is better for talking,” Keith adds.
Neva told them all about her small town; the racism and insecurities she felt being the offspring of an Italian mom and an afro American father. Mandy echoed her sentiments since she had a similar upbringing her father was Irish and her mother Afro American and Hispanic.
“But on the brighter side after all the heartache we ended up here with you nice guys,” Neva laughs.

Keith and Lucas share their backgrounds and tell them all about Tree Hill, all the drama and heartaches. It is after one am when they leave the café. They make plans to meet the next morning at eleven for brunch and more sightseeing.

After picnicking on the lake they go to the museum and after that the girls make plans to visit Tree Hill the following month. Keith and Neva stop to share a long intimate kiss as they are leaving the museum and exchange phone numbers and email. Lucas gives Mandy a peck on the cheek and all his phone numbers; cell, pager, work and email. Mandy laughs as she gives him her one cell number.

Keith and Lucas laugh as they get ready to leave for the airport.
“Looks like we got more than what we planned, Lucas, in a good way.”
“Yea, a very good way,” Lucas laughs.
