His wife's name is unknown. He resided in Burke County, North Carolina from 1786 until 1803 and in Stewart County, Tennesse from 1805 until 1812. 1800 Unknown Township, Buncombe County, North Carolina Federal Census: shows as George Crosnore HIS CHILDREN: 1. CROSSNOE, Rebecca--Born about 1770 in Anson County, North Carolina and died in 1805. She married Thomas Jr. DOCKERY in 1804 in Anson County, North Carolina. 2. CROSSNORE, John--Born in 1771 in Burke, North Carolina and died after 1843 in Burke, N. C. 1800 Federal Census for Unknown Township, Buncombe County, North Carolina: shows as John Crosnore. 3. CROSSNOE, George--Born about 1775 in Buncombe County, N. C. and died on July 16, 1825 in Wilson County, Tennessee. He was a private in the 1st Tennessee Volunteers under Capt. H. L. Douglas Company during the War of 1812. The 1820 Tennessee census for Wilson County shows his occupation as "agriculture" with no slaves. 4. CROSSNO, Thomas--Born about 1776 and died December 1860. 5. CROSSNOE, Henry--Born 1785 in Buncombe, N. C. and died about 1845 in Perry County, Tennessee. He married Sarah MIDDLETON sometime between 1810 and 1815. He served under Capt. Henry M. Newlins Company Infantry in the War of 1812. Shows in the 1820 and 1830 Tenn. Census for Wayne county. Shows in the 1840 Tenn Census for Perry County. 6. CROSSNO, Jacob--Born about 1785 in Burke County, N. C. and died on February 18, 1839 in Benton County, Tennessee. He married Jane GREER on September 20, 1811 in Dover, Stewart County, Tennessee. Served under Capt. Grey's Tennessee Militia in the War of 1812, Enlisting November 13, 1814 and Honorably Discharged on May 18, 1815 in Nashville, Tennessee. Shows on the 1830 Humphrey County, Tennessee Census. 7. CROSSNORE, Adam--Born about 1788 in Burke, North Carolina and died sometime after 1826. 8. CROSSNORE, Elizabeth--Born between 1790 and 1800 in Burke, North Carolina and died in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee. Married John James LINDSEY in Benton County, Tennessee. 9. CROSSNORE, Unknown daughter--Born between 1790 and 1800. This daughter is added due to the 1800 Buncombe County, North Carolina census showing two daughters under the age of ten years.

CROSSNO, Thomas--Born about 1776 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. He married Sarah (last name unknown) in about 1795 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Sarah was born in 1780 in Buncombe County, N. C. and died about 1819 in Wayne County, Tennessee. He also married Milly/Molly GRIMES in about 1820 and then a Sarah A. (last name unknown) in about 1850. He served under Cuthberts and Hudsons Company Tennessee Militia in the War of 1812. He died in December of 1860 in Wayne County, Tennessee. HIS CHILDREN WERE: 1. CROSSNO, Daniel--Courth records lists his date of death as January 2, 1869, but no birth date has yet been found. 2. CROSSNOE, George--Born July 25, 1806. He married Elizabeth MURPHY in 1831/1832. Shows in the 1840 Wayne County, Tennessee census. He died around 1849 in Wayne County, Tennessee. 3. CROSSNOE, Catherine--Born in 1806 in Dickson County, Tennessee. She married Daniel MABERY in about 1824 in Wayne County, Tennessee. Shows in the 1850 Wayne County, Tennessee census as 44 years old and born in Tennessee as "Catherine Mayberry" in household with son, Daniel Mayberry. Died after 1890. 4. CROSSNOE, Jacob--Born in 1807 in Sumner County, TN. Married Alley BURNS. Shows in the 1860 Marion County, Alabama census as Head of Household. Died sometime after 1860. 5. CROSSNOE, Thomas--Born between 1810 and 1820 in Sumner County, Tennesee. Shows in the 1840 Wayne County, TN census. Died in 1847 in Wayne County, Tennessee. 6. CROSSNO, David--Born about 1814 in Dickson County, Tenn. He married Mary Anne Elizabeth MONTAGUE before 1850. Died in 1860 in Bells, Crockett County, Tennessee with his burial done by Good Hope Church. 7. CROSSNOE, William--Born in 1815 in Dickson County, Tennessee. He married Jane (last name unknown). Died after 1860 in Ozark County, Missouri. 8. CROSSNOE, Samuel--Born 1818 and died in 1857.

CROSSNOE, Samuel---Born on March 27, 1818 in Wayne County, Tennessee. He married Susannah BIFFLE on January 4, 1840 in Wayne County, Tennessee. Susannah was born on November 19, 1821 in Wayne County, Tennessee and died on August 27, 1882. Samuel passed away on August 17, 1857 in Bells, Crockett County, Tennessee with his burial being done by Good Hope Church. THEIR CHILDREN: 1. CROSSNOE, James H.--Born on October 28, 1841 in Tennessee and died on April 6, 1862. 2. CROSSNOE, William J.--Born in 1843 and died between 1888 and 1900. 3. CROSSNOE, Thomas W.--Born on December 26, 1845 and died December, 1848. 4. CROSSNOE, Mary Elizabeth--Born on March 30, 1847 in Tennessee. She was also known as "Lizzie". She married Abe J. PIPKIN on June 24, 1865 in Haywood County, Tennessee. 5. CROSSNOE, Samuel--Born about 1848 in Tennessee. 6. CROSSNOE, David Allen--Born on March 30, 1849 in Tennessee. He married Margaret Virginia MITCHELL on January 5, 1869 in Haywood, Tennessee. He lived in Bellville, Haywood County, TN as a farmer from 1870 until 1880. He then lived in Crockett County, Tennessee from 1880 until 1928 where he was also a farmer. He died on April 8, 1928 and is buried in Bellview Cemetary, Crockett County, Tennessee. 7. CROSSNOE, John A.--Born on January 22, 1851 and died in May 1853. 8. CROSSNOE, Ursula Jane--Born on January 22, 1853 in Crockett County, Tennessee. Married Willie LLOYD. She then married James Tyler WOODARD before 1886. 9. CROSSNOE, George Samuel Lafayet--Born on September 10, 1854. He married Eliza Candace PERMENTER on August 22, 1878 in Crockett County, Tennessee. He was a Farmer in Bells, Tennessee in 1900. Died on April 28, 1904. 10. CROSSNOE, Emarintha Catharine--AKA: Cate. Born November 4, 1856. Married Johnnie F. BLAIR on December 12, 1874 in Crockett County, Tennessee.
