These pieces are some of of the several dozen articles written by writers on Epinions.com to protest actions by the company, the most controversial of which was to take away from writers their ability to edit or delete their reviews. More information about the circumstances that sparked the EBD action is available here.

The EBD protest was organized by Sordid-1, who wrote a post-mortem of the EBD action that is posted on Epinions and is here. Other related pieces that are still on Epinions include ones by annexation, 4-1-1, FraggleMom, mtbat, and mshawpyle.

The pieces of writing that are included in this archive were posted originally on Epinions, but their authors deleted them from there when Epinions restored the "edit/delete" function. The authors of these pieces retain the ability to change them or to delete them from this archive whenever they like.
