What is dowsing:

Everything on Earth is continuously transforming and changing. Earth energies, i.e., underground water, ley lines, ley-line power centers, have the ability to alter and uplift human consciousness. Dowsing is an intuitional technique or method used to locate these Earth energies.

By using an instrument, such as a dowsing rod or crystal, techniques are performed to find water or other elements.

Through a dowser's developed intuition, their clairvoyance produces the ability to see at any given moment what is happening within one's physical body and their environment. Dowsing is a method of projecting an intention of what is desired and then receiving confirmation through the body.

As described by the Canadian Society of Dowsers:

Dowsing is an intuitive method of obtaining information and guidance. Some describe it as "intuition technology". Some describe it as an art.

Dowsers prepare themselves for their work by relaxing down to a receptive "alpha" or prayer mode, ready to focus on their questions, and tune in to the answers.

Dowsing answers are received as distinctive, though often faint, body responses. Some dowsers can sense "yes" or "no" answers in their body directly. They often describe them as "hunches" or "gut feelings". Muscle testing by chiropractors and nutritionists is a type of dowsing response.
