They are also seven kings: five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he comes, he must remain for a little while. The beast that was and is not, is himself the eighth, yet is of the seven and goes to destruction.

Above is a chart to showing The Seven Main kings of the Holy Roman Empire all  with the name charles .

(the seven Kings all named charles were  also considered to be the seven main kings  of this empire  note *)

The theory that the seven kings in the book of revelation

could be the seven kings of the holy roman emperor is a strong one.

the eighth in this line is truly prince charles of wales when he becomes a king

However amazingly enough the chart Jim Searcy set up is wrong,

it doesnt depict the correct number of emperors with the name charles, im leaving the chart above here  instead of Jim Searcy's to show that indeed there were seven kings of the holy roman empire named charles -which means man

the eighth king will be the beast king so the book of revelation says and he will  be of the seven

All those considered as the  seven  main kings of the holy roman empire (by scholars ) are named charles, and prince charles is obviously like one of them since he too when king will be a charles and even could be considered ONE of the seven NOW as he is historically in line for that title of King of holy Roman Empire because of his personal royal lineage .

The only apparant trouble with this theory is the tense in which the angel delivers it,

is it all future tense from St Johns time or is it past then present tense then future?

This is an an important point of argument.

I believe the angel could be speaking actually as though in the time of relevance to the whole vision of the beast and the woman who sits on it.

In other words  the vision concerning the beast rising out of the sea could have meant the angel started dictating to st john from that time period onwards, as though actually living in that  time period  as st John was watching actual visions of it, with the angel speaking in the time frame as those visions were  playing before St Johns Spiritual eyes.

So when the angel said to st john

"FIVE HAVE FALLEN ,ONE IS

AND MUST REMAIN A LITTLE WHILE"

 THIS WOULD MEAN THE ANGEL was speaking from the timing of the actual visions placing in world history rather than talking about st johns own time and place in his own everyday time.

Unless of course when we read the words in our present day,

ONE NOW IS

AND MUST REMAIN A LITTLE WHILE"

we are meant to read it as though relevant to present time

And see it refering to our own time in history.

If this is be the case

now ,

while you and i  are reading this verse the seventh king is actually here and must stay a little while until the eighth king comes on the scene.

The other  Way of looking at it is to see the angel talking about a king that was ruling while st john was alive in his own body on earth, in the late 70's ad possibly.

Even if this was so we are still talking about rulers of  the entity called ROME  THE BEAST KINGDOM  and presumably

we are  when pondering who this last king may be

looking for a king who will rule over some form of  REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE.

If this isnt the case then this beast King has already come and gone, So there we have the possible options to think about.

In spite of all this

when Prince Charles becomes king HE would actually be the eighth king  of The same Holy Roman Empire if only the holy roman empire was still actually set up, yet to be honest the E.E.C is the only other attempt to unify the whole of europe other than the holy roman empire and as i have said prince charles already has made clear his views to the legislative  body of the EEC about how he thinks a monarchy structure is the best model to run as succesful government  over a people ,such as the uk has.

I also believe  it very possible when crowned he will become KING OF THE EEC rather than just the UKand commonwealth.

If this happens   and in affect it chooses a monarchy structure as charles has already proposed,

the laws of the crown will surely take into account his lineage

and place him as the eighth king of the holy roman empire.

Europe having one king has only the holy roman empire model to base its royal constitution upon, for that was something used by the whole of europe previously and as you know= these things arent just brushed under the carpet where matters of law are concerned .

So i see that scenario as more than likely , they will refer to the past to accomadate such a structure over the EEC  and use the previous known scenario for the law side of things.

So if this happens he will be crowned as charles the eighth king of  a united europe and king of a new holy roman empire (or at least will have that as a title written down somewhere officially,

as indeed now he has many not so much used titles other than prince of wales , duke of cornwall  for example, there are many others.)

The number of the beast is the number of A MAN

and that man will be the eighth KING ALSO KNOWN AS THE BEAST KING according to the book of revelation .

So what Jim searcy was trying to put forard in his chart (which i have removed so as not to cause confusion ) is true .

There were seven kings of The Holy Roman Empire Named Charles, yet an unbiased source so to speak proves it rather than jim here.

Which is ironic seeing as he wanted to make the case of the possibilty of charles being  the eighth king .

The chart above is a real chart from a secular source that indeed proves that THERE WERE SEVEN KINGS OF THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE ALL NAMED "CHARLES "

PRINCE CHARLES IS TECHNICALLY ABLE TO CLAIM THE position  of EIGHTH KING OF THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE  NAMED CHARLES (THE CHARLES'S BEING THE  SEEN AS MAIN  KINGS BY LINIAGE.

( Any good history book will attest to this fact)
