Carloisms

What follows is a list of my own opinions, developed over my years of experience. Or lack thereof. You decide. I'm afraid that I have the inclination to be a bit cynical and pessimistic at times, so I apologize in advance if I offend anyone. But then again, don't we all offend someone, somehow?

Life isn't fair, so quit bitching.

You can kick my ass, but you'll never change my opinions.

Stupid people should quit wasting oxygen.

Ignorance is bliss. So shouldn't the world be a happier place?

Hatred is ignorance, complacency, and surfacism combined into one blind ball of blank, false emotion.

It's better to be stupid and give your heart away than to be bitter and keep it hidden from view.

The only person who has any say as to what goes on inside of my head is me.

Never admit that you're shallow: instead, carry around a sign that says "look at me, I'm a jackass." It expends less energy.

There's nothing wrong with self-promotion. It's better than paying someone to do it for you.

Don't feel sorry for yourself; it makes people want to kick your ass.

Only with the perception of depth can true sight be achieved.

The world needs a hero. That hero's name is perspective.

Evil to a human being is like water to a desert. Dig deep enough, and you'll find some in everyone.

How you are perceived by others is of little consequence in comparison to how you perceive yourself.

Love is not a door-to-door salesman. If you turn it away one day, it may not be there the next.

Any loss taken well is a moral victory.

The only remedy for a broken heart is to fall in love again.
