The cold descends upon us as we sing, so we bring out our fleece. We have a pile of pieces of warm winter fleece, all folded neatly in a pile for times like these - each piece is one yard, 36X60 inches. You don't even have to hem them - they don't fray. I got them on sale at the end of winter for $3.00 each. We put our choice of color around our shoulders, or waists, and use them for dancing outfits, and also to stay warm, because, though this early July day was in the 90s, it is now 50, and still dropping, and in the mountains, you need warm wraps to dance outside at night, even if you're young and lively! So we're all wrapped up warmly, and having a wonderful time!

   Woo-Hoo!

Starr heard Emmylou panting after a lively Bill Monroe song, and she said "Emmylou is out of breath, but I'm not!" I said, "well, honey, dance some more!" She did. "Stuck In Lodi Again" set her in motion. At the end of every song, both my daughters bow dramatically to the imaginary audience in the peaceful meadow. Oh, how much fun this is!
