ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BESIAN REUNION IN LONDON

Donald Edwards writes:

"The reunion was a great success. The only regrets I heard from the guests was that they wished they had arrived earlier! There were, 'officially' 272 people at the reunion, it did look like there were more! There were Besians from Canada and Australia.

After nearly a year of toil, the day before the event, I fell from the ladder while fixing the flags as a stage backdrop. Not wanting to miss the reunion, I managed, with the help of many pain killers, to make the show. Though I was under par mentally and physically I managed to make it to the end of the show. After my hospital visit on Sunday, I learned that I had a cracked bone in the foot.

We have made a video of the event. It runs for just over two hours. If you would like a copy of the video, please send me a cheque for £6.0 to cover costs and we would be grateful if you would include a donation towards the BESIAN funds to enable us to provide for the next reunion, the date of which is 7th September 2002. It will be held in the big hall, capable of holding 550 people.

START PLANNING!
