Japanese

In my past experience, every anime fan I have known (as far as I know...) has always wanted to learn the Japanese language. I took the liberty of enrolling in a class and now I'm planning on sharing some of the info with you all! Right now I'm only going to post the vocabulary, and even then only words that are a little more interesting. Later, I'll have stuff about sentance structures and other things. I hope you enjoy and maybe even learn something!

Pronunciation Guide: The vowels go in the order of a (aah), i (as in eel), u (like "food") e (eh?) and o (like it sounds, oh!). If two seperate vowels are back to back then you still pronounce them sepperately, in most cases. However, cases like "ai", it's pronounced like "ice". If you use common sense, you should be able to figure things out. If the two vowels are the same, such as "ii", then it is pronounced long.
A word such as "desu" is actually pronounced without the "u" on the end. Some words (like th anime character "Tasuki") with an "u" in the middle also emit the vowel sound.
