I could try to be witty. I could try to dazzle everyone with my talents, my intelligence, my various quirks. Instead, I choose to let people judge for themselves.
That's the way the world works, you know.
You can try to give off one impression, but when it comes down to it, people are going to make their own judgements in their own ways, regardless of what you feed them.
This is why I choose to be honest. When you choose honesty, no matter what other people think of you, you at least know that what you think of yourself is something real. You know that you are who you represent yourself to be and not who others want you to be.
That is a very satisfying feeling.
