The Purple Menace is the student-run newspaper of Carlow University, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Purple Menace circulates 600 newspapers monthly to over 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty and staff members living in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

All issues have two 5 1/2" columns on each page, with a standard 1/2" gutter on all sides. Length is determined by submissions and advertising.
