There is no doubt in my mind that this is the work of
someone whom I consider to be a 'religious' painter, for his
work is filled with an enormous love for every blade of broomstraw,
each curled and miraculous limb, each wondering expression
embraces the awe and the aloneness we feel afloat in a
universe that is mysterious, beautiful~ haunting.

Tim Lowly

is a painter of contemporary realism, whose intense
focus and uncanny ability to "see" transforms the world
he paints into a place draped in a luminescent hush,
and a quiet holiness.
