Who is Tulipsweets?

Hello! I am Tulipsweets. I was born February 7, 1978 as Jennifer Christina. I lived in Springfield, MO all my life until just recently when my husband and I moved to St. Louis, MO. In August of 2002 I graduated with a bachelor of science in tech writing from Southwest Missouri State University, In March of 1994 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I am hoping to enlighten society by sharing my experiences with all I can, and to help educate people on what MS really is. This is me with my little godson, Anthony, who turned 4 August 2001:

I am first and foremost a music person. At any given time you can catch me humming (or even singing out loud). I love to sing and have even taken voice lessons and I'm not half bad even if I do say so myself!! I taught myself how to play some stuff on the piano; Moonlight Sonata, Christofori's Dream, Pachabel Cannon, and a few others. Being as I am self-taught (with a little help from my dad), I'm not that great; but, I get by.... My favorite musician is Billy Joel ! I have even gotten to see him in concert 4 times and had the pleasure of meeting him in April 2001!!! He was a very cool guy, very friendly and he has a great sense of humor too! I am also a fan of *NSync, Backstreet Boys, Elton John, Deborah Gibson, Bare Naked Ladies, Mozart, Chopin, Collective Soul, Dave Matthews Band, Karissa Noel and my brother's band The Adrian Fortress and just about anything else along those lines!! =)

Aside from music, I love to write (hence the lengthiness of this page) and I think I do that fairly well: at least I hope so being a wannabe "Professional" writer!! I am also very active in the SMSU chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society. I enjoy GK immensly and hope to stay involved for years to come. I am also a member of the News Media Club and write for the entertainment section of "The Scope" which is a new newspaper on the SMSU campus. I write the Horoscopes and a column like "Dear Abby" called "Dear Someone." I also recently aquired my insurance liscence in August in the lines of Life, Accident, and Health.
