Airport Absurdness

I love airports.
I really do.
My favorite book ever was Terminal Nights, Runway Days: The Story of JFK.

And tonight I'll be going to San Jose to drop my mom off.

But the questions they ask are ridiculous:

1) Did you pack your belongings yourself?
"No. I allowed the Hamas to pack my suiter. As for my suitcase that has Jihad painted on it, those were just some Libyans the helped me out. They claimed to have great expertise in getting everything to fit in a suitcase from the Pan Am experience."

2) Were you with your belongins the whole time?
"No. I dropped them off in Colombia first. The left wing rebels wanted me to carry some stuff for them and I had plenty of room. After than some guys from a Sinn Fein splinter group took care of my bags while I went to the bathroom."
