The ginkgo leaf is a form  used in Chandler works since the late '70's. Native to eastern China and imported to the west , the leaf of the ginkgo tree (family  Ginkgoaceae) is fan-shaped and the tree was once rare in the wild,the tree was later preserved as a temple tree by the Chinese.
