35 year old actor Vincent Perez is now 99.9% sure to take the role of Marius in the upcoming "Queen of the Damned" film. Perez is origionally from Lausanne, Switzerland and has been in the following recognizable movies:

Personally, I'm a bit torn on the casting of Perez. I like his style of acting (loved "the crowe" and him in the sequel) but I'm not quite sure if he really suits the part of Marius... If you've never seen him in any movie, the following quote by Director Nick Hamm, on Perez could help you understand his style...
"--he has that smoldering intensity of the French"
Despite his half-German, half-Spanish heritage, I honestly agree w/ Hamm on this. He had a fairly pleasing accent in the crowe, and when he gets into his intense mental scenes, it can become rather smothering...
Some of his best acting has come from his "temper tantrum" scenes, and I've never known or heard of Marius ever throwing any kind of tantrum... but I do like him, and have more faith in his acting, than any other member of the cast so far...
