RAVENSGATE KEEP REALM OF MYSTERY

We finally made it safely back to the USA for ‘home leave’. We survived Johannesburg, SA for three years. Jo’burg has a reputation for being the most dangerous city in the world. The USA is worried about terrorism, but I am happy to be home. However, two days after we disembarked from our plane, I was exposed to terrorism in the form of a part-time policeman from a wee little town of Wingate, Indiana. Actually, it was my son who got the ticket. I had asked him to drive from Farmer City to Lafayette, Indiana because I was so tired of driving. I had been watching his speed and he was doing fine. We had pulled off of Interstate 74 onto Indiana State Hwy. 25. I KNOW he could not have been going the 14 miles over the limit that Office Schitz [not his real name] said he was going. I found out later that his badge number wasn’t even on the roster for that day, and that he wasn’t a regular policeman (I’ll say!). Hmmmmm…. Anyway, having been gone from the USA for the last three years, I don’t know what the latest rules are for reporting these things on the Internet, but USA citizens should still be able to print the truth! It is our Constitutional right! I will pay the darn ticket and my ‘angels’ will take care of the deliverer of injustice. Officer Schitz should have only given a warning anyway because my son was simply taking care of his Mother! Shame on that officer! It is an policeman such as this that give the truly good ones a tarnished image.

One more thing. Although I have never received a ticket in the Danville, IL area, I would like to warn all of my visitors that there is a MASSIVE SPEED TRAP on Interstate 74 by Danville, Illinois and its surrounding area. BEWARE!!!
