Jackson- husband of almost 27 years
Logan, Mason - son, senior year in college
Lydia, Ell - daughter, high school, cheerleader, dancer
Manatee - mom, can be read at her own page
Dad is just dad, but at least I don't have him on page 42. (Family joke having to do with something manatee wrote when we were kids.) My computer guru offline.
Juan Valdez - Father-in-law, who makes a mean morning coffee. Also known as Mr. Coffee
Skim - mother-in-law, one of "The girls" who walk in the mornings.
Birdie - best teacher friend at Old School. Has a page she doesn't update near often enough, cuz she'd be a good read if she did. She spends her writing time writing music and taking care of twins.
Taz - other best teacher friend at Old School, one of the teachers I traveled west with along with 20 students.
Juffy - other best teacher friend at Old School, rode back and forth to school with her for a long, dark, winter.
CiCi- Teacher across the hall from me.
Alice - teacher, author of Assume Nothing. I consider her a friend and advisor!

Elliott - my dog, Silly! Couldn't you figure that one out yourself??
The Seagull - race car driver extradinaire, a pain in the ass friend, and the one that bet me $100.00 I couldn't lose 10 pounds in 2 months. He will be 100.00 richer soon...
Kylie - teacher at New School, friend before I got here. Without her, I would've quit my first week, and headed right back for Old School, an hour away or not! She let me talk about Old School without telling me to get over it.
The Lunch Bunch:
Dorothy, as in Toto too, young teacher hired same time I was. Worked with her off and on before that, and was glad to hear she was hired when I was.
Reba, was not hired when I was, but should have been hired before me. She ended up in a full year temp job, lucky for me, because I had a place to go for lunch every day. This year, lucky for me, she is a permanent little people teacher, and still my refuge at lunch time.
Cassy, I want to be her in my next life; art teacher extraordinaire, I miss her when she has to teach in one of the other schools for the day. A walking partner, reading partner, and the only one who loves my kids' original, funky, artwork hanging in the hall next to all the other cut and paste pretty projects. I love HER for that!
