Newbury Floods 2000 |
Newbury was not badly affected by the floods, just some localized flooding. There are two sets of pictures on this page. Set 1 was taken on a brief walk from the Northcroft Recreation Centre, along Northcroft Lane to Newbury Bridge on the morning of the 15th December 2000, and Set 2 was taken around the Northcroft Recreation Centre on the morning of Christmas Eve. |

The bulk of these pictures were taken on a brief walk around Northcroft Recreation Centre south to the Kennet & Avon Canal, towards "Red Locks" and back to the car park. on the morning of the 24th December 2000.
