Hi Everyone!!

Well, I know some of you may want my stats. Right now, currently, I am 138 pounds and happy. I have learned so much and I still have so much more room to grow.
First off, I started school one year ago & I am working towards my Associates in Computer Information Systems. I’m carrying a 3.86 Grade point average at this point. I’m very thankful to have the opportunity to have a husband (and family- MOM) who support my dreams.

Second Off, Im very happy and comfortable where Im at in my life right now and Im thankful to God for helping me realize that life is precious.

** My Measurements **

  • ** When I encountered a plateau at 164, I started to take my measurements instead of weighing myself everyday. I only started this when I had already lost 25 pounds! **
  • ** Friday, November 19th~ Weight = 163 ~ Waist: 33, Thigh: 24.5, Hips and bust: 42.5, Arm: 12.5 **
  • ** Tuesday, November 23rd~ Weight = 163 Loss of 2.5 inches! Waist: 32, Thigh: 24, Hips and bust: 42, Arm: 12 **

  • ** Monday, February 21st, I wanted to let everyone know that I crashed my scale, and I havnt been able to weigh in but one time at my Mom N Laws! I am now at 139 pounds, and I will update my measurements on Wednesday the 23rd. As usual. :-) Thanks for keeping track with me!

  • ** Wednesday, March 1st, we went to Las Vegas on Feburary 25th-27th, and those darn buffets! I accidently gained a few! Today is Monday, March 6th, and I weighed in at 143! So, heres to a new day!!! :-)
  • ** Hello everyone! I just wanted to tell you all, that after Las Vegas, I came home and weighed in at 147. So, by March 6th, 8 days later, I was at 143. And today, March 8th, I am at 140! And I lost a little bit in the measurement department! So here goes: Wednesday ~ March 8th: Weight: 140! Inches Lost: 1 ¼! Waist: 28 ½, Hips: 34, Bust: 37, Thigh: 19, Arm: 10 ½ :-)

  • older one! It is more accurate like a Dr. Scale. Anyhow, today, as of 4/3/00 I am 134 on my old scale, and 139 on my new digital one! :-) Almost to goal!! Whaoooooo!!!!!!

  • ** Friday, ~ January 5th, Weight 141 Inches Lost: Nada lol Arm: 10 3/4, Bust: 38, Hips: 33, Waist: 29, UPPER Thigh 23 1/2. (I changed where I usually measure my thigh because now I go all the way up top. This means that I dont have to draw a line on my thigh anymore. lol **

~* Updates *~

  • ** Today is April 28th, and all is well. I have been slipping up a little here and there. Actually, because I am so close to goal, I think I have been getting ahead of myself.. I am staying inbetween 137-142. And my body is so happy here, lol. My goal is 130, and Im going to start measuring again so we can track together. :-)

  • ** Today is May 12th, and IM SO HAPPY!! Today I am 134.5 on my nicer scale. This is the scale I have been using to track my weight the whole time. I know that on my digital MEAN scale, Im happy too. It is more like a Doctor scale. I am 139.5 on it today. Whaoo!!!! Almost time to have a celebration!!

  • ** Well, here it is on June 27th, and Im asking you all for support! I have tried for almost a year now to be here for everyone who ever wanted help. I have tried to be a rock, and I forgot that I am human as well as you all! I almost got to goal. I was 131 for about 2 days! Then Im not sure what happened. I am back up to 139 this morning. I am so sorry that I havent been around. I guess sometimes I feel like a failure that I havent reached my goal yet. I ask for your support now. I ask that you help me get through my hard times. I know it is within me to get to my goal. And I know that this phase that Im in will soon pass. I WILL get back on track. I have not lost 51 pounds to gain it back!!~ 140 is my weight where I know, Ok, Jen, slow down. So here I sit apoligizing to anyone who has been waiting for an update on my web page. Or who has emailed me, and heard nothing back. Just know that I am not done! I am down, but my mama taught me to NEVER QUIT! Have faith, Jennifer!!! **

  • ** I want you all to know that we are leaving for Vacation on Thursday, the 29th of this month! We will not be back untill July 5th. So, if you email me, be patient!! I love you all, and thank you so much for being here for me! And for watching me go through all of these times! **

  • ** Hello Everyone! I hope that things have been going well for you all! Its been a long summer here in California. We took the kids to a couple of water parks, Knotts, Laughlin, and made about 4 beach trips! Wheew! I'm really happy that its over and that school has started up once again so I can get back on track! :-) Today is Sept 27th, and I'm here to tell you about my trials! It seems that I got away from working out and eating right for about 3 months. Just started slacking. I'm not too sure why after I was making such wonderful progress! BUT as we know, the beat goes on, and I just have to pick up the pieces and move on. Today I am 136.5 down from 147. I know, I know, 147!!?? lol Well, I'm not too sure what happened but it was ugly! My clothes weren't fitting good, I couldn't wear my size 7 shorts. And even now they don't fit the way they did. Once we stop working out, things shift. And I gained back some inches. That's why when were working out, and lets say your 140, you actually look 130. Its true. So at 136.5, I look 136.5. At least I think I do. :-( But I'm not worried about it at all anymore! I've been working out everyday for 2 weeks, and feeling stronger than ever!! Here are my stats: Thigh: 19 (Up ½ inch) Waist: 28 (Up 1/4 of an inch) Hips: 33½ (Up ½ inch) Arm: 10 ½ (No change) Bust: 36 ½ (Up ½ Inch) Upper Thigh: 21 ½ (No Change) Well, that's it! I guess it is true about where we tend to put weight on first and the fastest is where I really added some inches. My waist and hips! Those seem to be my real problem area. My waist at its thinnest was 27 ¾! Here is to another new beginning! My year mark is coming up on October 15th! I will be at goal by that time! :-) Oh, and my goal is 127-130. No more, no less.   • ** 12/29/00 IM BACK! lol Did you miss me!? As I sit here and look over my websites I have tears in my eyes. Looking at what I was. How strong I was. How strong I AM. Im still here. Gained yes, but not too bad. If I did'nt catch it --- It could have really gotten worse. So here I sit, 146 today. No higher, no lower. A new beginning. A new day. We moved into a new (to me) bigger home, I started work & quit work, lol, I started college, and things are finally calming down. Im taking my own advice to start small and go long. :-) Here we go again! And I cant wait for the challenge. Gosh Im up for anything!!! **

  • ** 1/5/01 Today is Friday, weigh in day! So I decided to measure as well. Gosh my bottom got big! lol Oh well, Im on it! Today I am 141. Down 5 in 8 days. Slowly but surley I will get there! Thanks for sticking with me all this time! I love you all for that! **

~ A life Completely Turned Around ~

  • Im not too sure why Im adding this to my web site. I have made so many changes in my life that it is so wonderful to sit here and type. :-) It has been a really tough challenge for me to lose this much weight. And Im sure it will always continue to be a tough challenge. But I am ready for it. It has made me who I am now. I knew one day I would be able to do this! It has been 7 months since I started my weight loss journey. SEVEN! WOW! When I get to one year, I will be so happy with my commitment to myself. I am now the person that I have always wanted to be. No, lifes little mishaps do not go away. But the self confidence that I have is so much better now. I can walk through the store and not feel like everyone is staring at me. And if they are staring, it is only cus they are looking at the new me now! So I dont mind anymore! I get a lot of attitude from women of all ages. They are not so open to me or friendly anymore. Thats a bummer. Because I try to be the same caring person I was back then. Life is good. Life couldnt get any better. Im almost there, gang! ALMOST!

  • Dont EVER Give up. Ever. You can do this. Reach deep. Youve lost 60 pounds. Losing back down is no challenge!!! We can all do it! Its the way we think that will help us overcome! :-)
