Let me just state...I love contest. Even though it's hard work, and we only got a 2. I've had so much fun in the past few days. It's crazy. Really it is. I think we're gonna do a little flashback, then we're gonna flip back to todays' events. That sounds good to me.

~Never knew we were livin' in a world with a mind that could be so small.~

Two years ago, (the last time we hosted contest) I happened to be stuck working the night shift. I had been guiding choirs around ALL day. Wapak was there, and I ran into a guy I knew from TeenAct. (a theater group I used to be in) Jason... So Alanna (I was guiding with her) and I chilled with him and some of his friends in the lobby. One of those friends happened to be this guy named Michael. He was a little strange. (that's why I remember him... he stuck out in my head.) I don't remember exactly what we talked about. But I do remember giving them our name tags. Anyhow, I went home that night and told my mom about these guys... I'm like "ya, you remember Jason right? It was him and his friend Michael P." (I would put the last name but I'm not sure if he'd be happy with that. I don't want to intrude on anyones privacy) She's like, "WHO!!!" and I explained. Then she tells me this crazy story about high school! I couldn't believe it! Hello! I think it's a little strange. I was hanging out with a guy...I didn't even know him...and...our parents were an item! AHHH! *shiver* it's just weird to me. But I forgot all about it.

~It's gonna hurt and I love the pain.~

...TODAY...
Today, I went in at 8:00am. I was sooo tired. But we performed. (Not to the best of our ability) Afterward, I was chillin' with Nicole... and decided to go in and watch Wapak's performance. (my cousin Megan is in their choir) They were really good. But I was busy checkin' out the guys. Nicole's like, "that guy's not too bad." I'm like, "nah...the guy in the back row with the longish hair." She didn't agree. (different tastes) Once they were done, I sprinted down the hall to catch them before they made it into the sight-reading room. I spotted Megan and gave her a hug. While in the process, I got a better look at the guy. I'm thinkin'... "Nah! It can't be." So I waited until they got outta there and walked with Megan back to her homeroom. We got together in the hallway. A small group of people...Megan, Lincoln, (I've heard too much about this one) my aunt, Jason, and Michael. It WAS him. (go figure... and Jason graduated mind you. he's in college now.) but he was there. (supporting the choir he claims) We all headed over to the middle school for food. I ended up skipping with Michael over there. (He just outta no where links arms with me, and takes off! I just went with it.) It was sooo wrong. I sat next to Jason, and across from Michael. Maybe it was just me, but I thought they were both flirting. (Jason's always been a big flirt.) but uh...I don't know Michael very well. All I know is, he happened to bump my leg under the table. I looked at him funny I guess...because he did it again, only Jason saw it the second time and he's like, "ooooh! playin' footsie!" and Michael goes, "No. she stared at me the last time I did it. So I thought I'd do it again." We ate. I talked to Jason a lot. (because he's the one I've known.) But I kept glancing at Michael...(sorry! he looks good. Not saying Jason is a dog. He's cute too. I used to have a crush on him actually.) But uh...yeah...

~Just wait for us to say it, and we'll make you lie.~

Later on, our girls had to perform. So I dealt with that. Jason and Megan watched us, but Michael had guys choir. After we got done in the warm up room, they went in. Anyhow, after we left sight-reading, I just HAD to prove a point. Rachel and I were talking about the whole thing, so when I walked past Michael, I told him good luck. She's like, "mmm girl!" It's strange how the two of us have been so chummy lately. (We hung out on the Spanish field trip Friday too.) Right...so I didn't see Michael again because the guys left right afterward. I told Megan I would stay and watch their girls. but I was tired. I went back and changed. Talked to Jason once more before I took off... I can't believe I had never told him about the "my mom and Michael's dad" thing before. So I relayed the story. I'm not sure if Michael knows either. But Jason said he was going to inform him. It's weird. I just can't believe it at all. FREAKY! *smirk* but it's still kinda funny. Odd...but funny. *sigh* So yeah. That was my day.
